Yeah, so Shu lost today. I know it sucks, but this is the main antagonist to be fair, not to mention an upgrade meant to be more powerful than the last.
And you know, I don't get when people say Lean has "plot armour", honestly it's not like his wins aren't plausible, he is established to be a very talented blader from the start. It's not like Lean was a total newbie when he's first seen and instantly became talented.
Shu in Season 1 basically won all the time until Lui, where was the people complaining about Shu having plot armour there? Oh that's right, because Shu is the fan favourite he tends to be overlooked. Yes, I know Shu has had many seasons to establish himself as a very talented blader, but remember that in Season 1, he didn't have all those seasons to build up how strong he was. Lane isn't all that different. Both Shu and Lane start their own debut seasons as, not only super talented, but as part of some high rank.
I'm aware that Lean is basically beating a bunch of legendary bladers, and while I don't exactly appreciate them becoming fodder, these bladers are not unbeatable either. At least they were beaten by a purportedly super talented and experienced blader, trained by Shu no less.
Also, Shu never once uses left spin in this match, I'm guessing they're saving that for later since it's clearly the stronger mode.
The problem with Lane is that he's the most boring character in the show right now. He's strong. He likes to scream about his flare, a lot. And.. that's it. What else can you say about him?
I'm not a fan of the legends being cannon fodder but it is what it is. Nor do I find Lane to be interesting. I think we all kinda knew this was going to happen, unfortunate as it is. At least Spryzen didn't break.

I expect them to make a comeback. They have too.

I really hope so. I think that would be a great way of getting this train back on the track.

And that's fine. My post isn't to convince people to like or dislike Lean, it's just whenever people accuse Lean of mostly winning due to plot armour.
As a character, Lean is a bit lacking. I find him entertaining enough, but needs more. This isn't relevant to his actual skills though, I don't think.

I mean, it would be great but I doubt they really can. There’s just not much time left.
So many people like to complain and complain about events and outcomes in this season. It gets old. So many worse things happened in previous seasons that did not get this much backlash.
I'm just going to say, I loved this episode despite the results. Honestly, I would have made 0 sense if Shu won. Where would that take the plot? Another Lucifer? Another rematch? It would get really boring. With this result, at least the plot goes somewhere especially with Lane's internal conflict developing.

I don't see any of the legends beating lean right now because it will just make the tension goes out or disappear

Yeah , but Lane won more than enough.
So Shu finally got his butt kicked AND Wakiya returns?! Best. Day. Ever!!!
I don't really care that Shu lost as he is my least favorite character, Big deal!!
Also Lucifer The End's avatar looks sick!!!

Unfortunately. Sad it ended up like this.

Agreed, but I don't think they're going to give any of the legends a win on him unfortunately. The only ones who'll probably defeat him are the bros.
Guys guys this is so sad my favorite character lost once like he was a Legend so he’s invincible I don’t see why this happened guys guys

True, but only a main character can legitimately beat Lane by burst anime logic and it’s been true for all burst seasons. I know Aiga beat Lane but the anime already established it was a fluke since Lucifer was accidentally knocked off balance by Hyperion. The main characters of this seasons are The Asahi bros, Rantaro, Shu and Valt. We can pretty much cross Rantaro out as he isn’t really playing a heroic role like the other main cast members. The bros (or a single brother) will definitely beat him but that leaves us with Valt and Shu. I don’t think they can have the bros and Valt/Shu all beat Lane within the remaining 10 episodes of the sparking anime.

It could be like how Gwynn lost in episode 49.
It'll probably just be the bros to get the W on him.

Didn't say I liked it lol. He did break their beys though so they at least deserve to get some payback.

Yeah, but the legends were training for 5 seasons. They deserve to beat him, cuz they've worked way harder.

i guess a new villian arrives!

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the legends taking Lane to town. Just don't think it going to happen.

Yeah, me too. Unfortunately, I can probably see the legends also getting wrecked by the brothers.
Lane breaks his stadium lol.
I feel bad for harry.
Lane regrets everything or he is mad that he didnt break Spryzen
so I watch the episode as expected shu lost that's not a surprised at all they battle wasn't as bad as I though it would be but why are some fans calling shu weak now like really? that lost like valt means his getting buff by the end of the season plus he never use left spin which as we know has been famous to be the stronger one this episode just imo made lane more vulnerable now to losses in the future episodes lane won yea we all knew it was going to happen I'm more happy spriggan didn't break again thank God. shu is one my favorite character top 3 at that. this lost didnt make him weak same when valt lost to lane it didn't make them weak cause we know they still have more to offer , anyway wakiya is back now that's a pleasant surprise I was not expecting more characters at all guess we got who the defence booster is going to be now.
