Teachers can be so confusing!
School is starting in 2 weeks for me! And I literally just finished my summer school where I learned geometry and trigonometry in 6 weeks. That’s 2 years of math in 6 weeks, UGH! Summer is supposed to be relaxing! Well, now I have 2 weeks to myself. Even though it should’ve been 2 and a half months lol.
I'm going to start sixth form in a month.

School is the place where basically anyone’s reputation can get hit real hard. And it can be tough to get good grades while trying to please everyone and stay clean. Thus, theres me trying to fit in
Recently, student council met up to prepare for the school year and during break, we sit in a circle and share our favorite music artist + our favorite song from them. I was really nervous, since my music taste fluctuates a lot and I was worried everyone might think Im weird. Though, I shared my long time favorite artist (Ariana Grande) and it was a relief since I got some nods of approval. I survived that one
However, plenty of the members said they dont like listening to music. Another portion of them said they just try to listen to whats popular at the moment as to fit in. Didnt expect that. Oh well, consider that a reality check for me — maybe the aesop for school is “if youre worried about fitting in, remember that everyone else thinks the same thing”
School was a cool adventure for me but one day one of my friends said to a girl "Lol are you gonna do it again" and I was just like "WHAT?!" And to this day I still don't know then the next day , the kid who got expelled brought a pocket knife to school and he got expelled again.

dont worry ur not alone lol. i try to fit in the best i can while (trying) to get good grades. school's starting in a week for me and im kinda nervous but i know i can do it. but there's alot of problems for me like trying to fit in, get some friends, have a beyblade club (at almost the end of the day we go outside and socialize), and get some gud grades!

I was back in my hometown this weekend so I took a drive by my old school — it felt oddly normal and strange at the same time. I hadn’t been there in years, so it was definitely interesting.

Im glad youre working on that. Although — and I dont mean to hate against living an anonymous, online life — its perfectly fine to hang around the internet, Im warning you: Being online as an anon instead of talking to real life, breathing people can do you over. I learned that myself
I myself never really had friends until high school. Then, I was so absorbed into editing wikis and talking to fandom strangers on the internet. I was pretty “weird” in my grade, always sitting with a phone instead of talking to others and joining clubs. I have a personal friend in college right now and she stopped living her online life after graduation. Thats when she realized she has barely any social skills and stuff on her resume
Thats why Im phasing out of my internet life, too. I do not have any fandoms Im in aside from Beyblade, Marvel’s Venom, and Plants vs Zombies. I dont call anyone online a “friend” unless I really respect them. I now spend my being an outgoing and successful person and people in school now like me — much to my mom’s happiness because she feared I was going to be antisocial forever. Youll get there too!

I can relate I have say more Online friends than irl cause making friends is hard for me in person

I remember in primary school our teacher took my light up dragoon and my friends bey and she never gave them back. I wonder if she ever played with them or just tossed them out.

Do you guys all have that one kid in your class who's a total teacher's pet and every single teacher favors them where everything else because once in 5th grade that kid and her friends were talking to the teacher while we were waiting on them to go outside and is chatting it up like "I don't care about our recess too busy just talking".

Yeah i think it is. A lot of kids lost valuable trading cards and toys to her so maybe it was her side business lol. I was too young to realize or stand up for myself.
