I’m not in High School, but I’m in a program called “AAP” or “Advanced Academics Program”. A lot of the people who didn’t make it in are extremely salty about it.
I start school tomorrow.
Im in World History AP right now. The people in it are pretty friendly, even when theyre one of those stereotypical “cool kids” at school. We all stick on our Insta groupchat and complain he hard it is

WE LITERALLY READ ABOUT ONE COUNTRY’S HISTORY EACH DAY AND WE ARE BRAINDEAD

Dont worry. Thats not how it works with us. Only people already in the groupchat can invite others

And Im sure no one wants the teacher

lol. Someone could betray the other members of the group though.
I’m not in any APs yet, but for freshman year, I took a lot of advanced level programs for my grade. Spanish 3 (I took a placement test and skipped Spanish 2), Geometry, Algebra 2, and 2 languages outside of school. On top of that, Flute, Math tutoring, Boy Scouts, and I am a TA for a language class. No wonder I have 7 hours of homework a night.
I’m still in 7th grade, and I’m in Accelerated Literature and Writing(just means it’s harder) and Algebra 1. I took a placement text to get into Algebra 1, but a lot of people in my Algebra 1 class got in because their parents told the school to put them in there.
Im in chemistry class right now and its hard
Going to start 8th grade tomorrow. I'm actually excited to start for once.

I’m in Algebra Honors and since I’m gifted all the classes are harder, which kinda sucks

For most of middle school, I took advanced classes. Now I’m in 9th grade, and I homeschool but take two 10th grade courses: Geometry and English

Being curious, are the high school grades in home school harder? (I am asking because I start 9th next year)

Like, I know that as the grade level goes up, the harder it will get, but is it harder than it should be?

I haven’t noticed it being much harder than in previous years

Ok. I've just heard about the electives you have to choose being much harder than they should be.

Well I basically took the courses I would have taken if I had went to the public high school where I live.

Your welcome!
To be honest, Im taking art and its right after 1st period, which is my AP class. I wish it could be my second to last class of the day (my last class is track and field), because art is relaxing and I deserve a break after many classes

I have art as my second to last class
All my teachers expect so much from me just because I'm good at the subject. Also, I'm just chilling and my teacher slides in like "Did you finish your work?" When the teacher clearly sees me put it on their desk.
For some reason when I was doing Athletics I came 4 in sprinting even though i am one of the slowest at long-distance ( as in i don't take it seriously)

Im not sure if you are aware of this, but this is how it works:

Some people are good at sprinting. Sprinting: Running a short distance as fast as you can

Some people are good at long distance. Long distance: Running a long distance to the best of your ability, usually with endurance and a pace.

People are better at sprints because usually, they dont have enough energy to keep up with long distance. Regardless of trying or not, sprints are easy and anyone can run a short distance at their fastest. If someone told you they sprinted a mile, dont believe them

K then
In short, sprints and long distance are two different things. You can be smart at English but that doesnt mean you are smart at Math. Same for sprints and long distance

In my sport, the coaches would gladly kick people out if they dont try at 80%. Tryharding is bad, but zero effort is just no effort on your part. If anyone can try sprints, then they can try at something else
