After some tests, I have some good results on Thermal Pisces T125WD.
However, more tests are needed for this

if more tests are needed, and you provide no evidence, how can you say to add it

I wonder if B even has a place on the list anymore, since the three D bottoms, have the bases covered pretty well.

If the final match of BWR meant anything D sucks hard in the balance stadium. I don't have the dish so I haven't tested SD or WD, but I have a feeling WD might not fare that well either.

I do agree with the D125 statement.
I don't think Virgo should be removed from the competitive Stamina customs list. It has been outclassed, but it is still good enough to have a spot.

I would take B out of the Stamina customs list, and possibly the Defense list as well.
Take B out of Stamina, and D125 out of everything.
What's the best Defense combo using Earth Wolf?

imo this list should be top-top-tier only
My best Virgo is certainly top-teir. Even with the mould issues it should stay IMO.
When will the list update? I think there is another better combo for them. Since there are a lot of new Beyblades coming out, as well as the parts, there should be some useful parts to add in the combo.

I meant there are too many options like

(Metal Face) Earth Aquario/Bull C145/ED145/CH120/GB145 B/WB/WD

and

Flame Sagittario/Cancer DF145/D125 WD/SD/D/B

Which one is the best among them? And is SW145 a good track for Defense?
C145 is best for defense, SD is best for Stamina, though I can never see it, others say that WD is just as good.

No, SW145 is a pretty useless part but 'fun to play with'.

IMO, GB145 is just as good. Even though it doesn't have the great lower defense of C145, the weight of GB145 certainly benefits defense combos.
Also, if the opposing blade is a Smash attacker like MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF, which aims for the wheel instead of the track, GB145 will prove to be more useful than C145.
The weight is cancelled out by the fact that C145 has the loose wings. There is less than two grams difference if I remember correctly. C145's wings make it unparalleled at defending from upper attackers such as Quetz and by the look of it Galaxy as well. GB145 is better than most but certainly worse than C145.
Well, you do have a point. Uncertain

LOL Wouldn't 'not as good' sound better than 'worse'?

You missed the point of what diamondclimax was saying:

diamondclimax Wrote:Also, if the opposing blade is a Smash attacker like MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF, which aims for the wheel instead of the track, GB145 will prove to be more useful than C145.

In the case of MF Lightning L Drago CH120RF, and other CH120RF customs, the user's goal is to set the Track height to whatever is closest to what their opponent is using, so contact with the Wheel is maximized. In this case C145's wings would make minimal contact with the CH120RF custom, and thus, it may actually be advantageous to use GB145 instead for the added weight, no matter how little it adds.

But with low 90/100 attackers, then yes, I agree; C145 is the best option.
Hey, forgive me if my terminology isn't correct
Basically, I want to make an Attack type using ONLY the hybrid wheel system. With money not being an issue, which beyblades/parts would allow for the best possible combination?

Of course, I have Storm Pegasis and L-Drago in mind, but I'm not sure what parts I should take from these and other hws beyblades.

Thanks

  • Quetzalcoatl 90RF
  • Storm Pegasis 100RF
  • MF Lightning L-Drago CH120RF

For the first combo, Storm Pegasis 100RF, all you'll need is BB-28 Storm Pegasis 105RF, and BB-43 Lightning L Drago 100HF

For the second combo, MF Lightning L-Drago CH120RF, you'll need BB-36 Metal Face, BB-43 Lightning L Drago 100HF, BB-55 Dark Cancer CH120SF, and BB-28 Storm Pegasis 105RF.

We have a MFB Product List, btw.

Okay this is great, thank you.

I've searched around the forum and discovered that RF is an acronym for Rubber Flat. However I am still puzzled as to what a 100HF and CH120 is and what parts these are on the actual beyblade (Face, track, etc). I suppose something like 105RF would mean 10.5mm?

Please excuse my lack of knowledge.

You really should read the Metal Fight Beyblade article on Beywiki, as well as the Parts List there. You will learn that the last few letters are the Bottom, and whatever comes before is the Track. The meaning of each acronym is in the Parts List.

Okay I've got it all now, thanks. Not sure how I missed it the first time, but everything makes a lot more sense now. Customizing beyblades is giving me more trouble than 2nd year calcXD
Alright so DrigerGT posted this and got me thinking can anyone test Thermal Aquila to see how affective it is a stamina type against other blades in comparison to the also top tier Virgo combo thats battling Thermal Aquila. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnw0ANrifKw

Edit: What I'm asking is, is can Thermal Aquila DF145SD be considered a top tier Stamina combo?
(May. 06, 2010  1:34 AM)RaitonLDragon Wrote: [ -> ]Edit: What I'm asking is, is can Thermal Aquila DF145SD be considered a top tier Stamina combo?

I think people would feel more comfortable in adding Thermal to the Competitive Combos list if proper, more thorough tests were done.

Hopefully some can be done in the near future.
seriously someone please update the OP already
Is WD currently the best Stamina bottom, or is it SD?
(May. 09, 2010  4:52 AM)Arashi Wrote: [ -> ]Is WD currently the best Stamina bottom, or is it SD?

From the Beywiki http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php/...ull_H145SD
It really comes down to personal preference when deciding whether to use SD or WD because they are so closely matched. For pure Stamina it impossible to tell which would win a given match, but WD would prepare you for more situations by being able to take hits better than SD. Test both and decide for yourself which one works best for what you are trying to do.
