I just got off the phone with my local TRU. They said there is discussion of having this internationally. More details should be available soon.

Whoa, so there's a Toys R Us Tournament internationally, or only on the East coast?

I called my local TRU and they said there was a tournament Saturday. I live in the Midwest so it must be nationwide.

Yeah I live in new jersey, and there a tournament at my local toys r us.

I'll probably go to that tournament at my local TRU, so if anyone lives in South Jersey, maybe I'll see you there!

It took several weeks for Toys "R" Us USA to confirm, and they are starting to advertise not even one week in advance ? Questionable.

Haha, I didn't know if I should do this, but maybe as a joke, an the day of one of those tournaments, a few people and I could run into T'R'U shouting "WBO! WBO!" and whip out some BB-10's or BBG-04's and show off some Takara to the Hasbro users. We stay for about 15 mins, and work our magic with some promo cards and run out. xD

I originally decided against it, because it probably wouldn't be a good image on the WBO. Who wants to join a group who raids toy stores for promotional benefit? xD

Aside from raiding ToysRUs stores and chanting "WBO, WBO, WBO!", how about playing with Takara products towards the sides with 4D & Zero-G Beys? Hopefully some kids would come by, and out of curiosity ask what those are. Then bam. Go in for the kill and hand them a WBO Promo card and leave. #likeaboss

The Toys "R" Us tournament in the United States just got 'released' not even one week before, Nelvana has not even advertised it on the Beyblade Facebook Page, everything is disorganised, so there are not really any rules known. However, if either country is allowed to do something that the other cannot, it would be way too discriminatory.

So is there any more info besides that there IS going to be a tournament in the TRU's?

And by the way, just to show that I can, I'm going to bring in Diablo Nemisis to the tournament. It's a five piece beyblade, right? Hasbro is pwned.

But seriously though, I've checked their website, and there is no info at all. Not a link, not a separate web page, NADA. So I don't know if they're going to actually hold it in a small town like where I live in...

The best info you can possibly get is to go to TRU and ask them yourself. It's more reliable that way.

About Diablo... You do know that you're completely breaking their rule on using Metal Fury tops only, right? Don't they have their own stock beys for you to use, and for you to use only?

Apparently the ToysRUs tournaments are being held in both the United States as well as Canada where it originally planned.

I wish I could go to a tourney my mom says it'll "ruin" my image. And i'd think she'd only take me to one if it was in key west!

Yes every Toys R Us in North America is hosting a tournament

In Canada, only Metal Fury Beyblades can be used, and they give you one uncustomized for play.

Can Takara Tomy beylaunchers not be used since they are not considered Hasbro merchandise?Just wondering because Hasbro did make the beylauncher.

These might not even be real tournaments ... You should be able to use it though, I think.

if they limit you to beyblades that are in the store and havn't been custmized, i'm saying no.
