Everyone was using Wave 2 combos an such. A really popular one ws Earth GB145WD. I saw an Grand Ketos though. I met this really awesome blader, who I could've sworn was Evan. And then I saw Wolfman847 (thanks for telling me about the tourney!). Really shy though, I wanted to talk to him more. Anyways, people were filipping out about my beys. For example:

-Is that Fang Leone?
-Scythe Kronos?!?!?!
-Pha-pha-pha- PHANTOM ORION?!?!?!

But nothing about my Variares Unhappy My combos were:
Scythe Kronos ED145CS (Knocked out a Basalt in one quick strike)
Variares DD (Obliberated 3-4 combos at once various times)
Phantom Orion BD & GB145D (Defense a lot, would usually survive the battle vs Basalt)
Fang Leone ED145MF (For funzies)

If there was an organized tournament, I should have placed.
My tourny organizer admitted that the tournament was only for fun.

They are not actually tournaments, but TRU let me do a WBO sanctioned event for the older kids to stop them from dominating the little kids in Hasbro stadiums. They were really cool about it. One of the employees is a Beyblader, haha.

I wish I could've made it, an organized tourney would've been much better, and way better competition. I believe the TRU "tourneys" are just a promotion so that kids can ask their parent to buy beyblades. It worked, because when kids saw us blading, they asked their parents to buy them.
That's how I sell so much at my tournaments, aha.

They let me use the TT Attack stadiums. I told them it would end faster so they were like "deal".

Lool, I had to use a Bolt Blast Stadium with the grooves, and that was no fun at all. Not to be off topic, but did you promote your upcoming tournament to anyone? And someone actually had a Phantom Orion in their pocket, and had the audacity to say, and in exact words as well, "It sucks dude", while they were using a Thermal Lacerta. Angry

Went to one today, ALOT MORE PEOPLE than i thought, and ALOT of people in california with 4D beys, it was fun, they gave out free beys i got a torch gemios W105 CS, and i saw ALOT of beys that i had never seen in person before, like phantom orion and flame byxis.

Yes, I think the upcoming tournament will break 100 thanks to today.
Also, when I mentioned I was part of the World Beyblade Org, their first reaction was:

You work for the WBO? HOW!!!!!!

XD Then I explained. It was quite funny though.

Did they think you were talking about the WBBA from the show?
I went to the one near me and it wasn't much of a tournament just a bunch of us huddled over hasbro stadiums. Luckily some people brought stadiums of their own, someone even brought a TAKARA attack stadium. What sucked about the event for me was the fact that we only got stickers, a card, and a coupon that expires today. No one kept score, but everyone kept telling me I was the one with the most victory percentage. Overall it was great, I even got myself a rival, only way they can make it better is if they actually organize an actual tourney where the winner either gets a gift card or a special beyblade like Sol Blaze or a golden Storm Pegasus, and maybe if there were some WBO judges there to make things official.
I got a torch gemios today 7th place grand prize grand cetus no joke its out
here in las Vegas

Yep. And I also told them I had 4 D beys and Im a seller, so that may have triggered that response. Man, they were spazzing when they saw the box.... XD
Ikr? They always had this reaction: OH MY GOSH! Is that the 3 thing grip launcher? I CAN"T BELIEVE I AM SEEING THIS! All the way through the tourney. (which I won, I hated having to use the Bolt Blast Stadium but that's all they had!)

Oddly enough, I won with flame bull sw 145 -sw fs.

I felt so bad going up against like a six year old kid in the final round, who had owned everyone else there. Not including my buds.
I was so mad when I walked into TRU yesterday not knowing there was a Beyblade "tournament". I was just saw a TRU after I got a haircut, asked my parents if I could see if they had Flame Byxis(they did), I walk in and I see so many people with hasbro launchers and Grand Cetus, I ask this kid whats going on, and he says "Beyblade tournament". I was like "NOOOO!!!! I left my Basalt Bull BD145RS at home"!!! I was so mad. I would've won if I entered, everyone was using terrible beys(Thermal Lacerta, Rock Leone, Hyper Orso, someone was even using Electric Storm Pegusus) so I had a Flame Byxis in my hand that I just bought, and some kid walks up to me and says, "that bey sucks because its tall!" I asked him if he had ever used a 230 track and he said no. I told everyone competing about WBO. Me and my family left cause we got mad because some kid was being really mean to my brother ("I could beat you in a battle, little kid!", He was using a Rock Leone, I walked up to him and say, "join WBO and see how may people you beat"). So I left.
i did but won too easily.there wasnt even a goog prize.just a poster

Crying
Afterwards for mine, the employees gave out whatever extra stuff they were aloud to. I got an earth virgo gb145 recolor, one of the employees actually used it during the "tournament". Good condition.

I just don't like the odd stares you get from parents at TRU. ^^
The average reaction for me when I use my custom beys is pretty awesome. one time I used my recolour Basalt lacerta BD145CS black version with my custom facebolt sticker, everyone literally freaked out. they were all like:

Kid: OMG thats a special rare WBBA bey! how did he get that!

me: WTF?

Kid: where did you get that?

me: I made it?...

Kid: wow, you make your own beys, do you work for the WBBA then?

me: ...

I beat everyone with scythe pegasis t125rf.There was this guy who I enjoyed battling who thought scythe pegasis was big bang pegasis. But you could only try out beys.
Does anyone know if there are tourneys in australia by toys r us. (victoria)

It seems that Hasbro is not acknowledging anything but the United States.
I went to mine and poned everyone there and got first place after going through a 4 person per stadium tournament. The only bad part was that there were so many people and it wasn't organized at all. The final was also a four person battle that I won and then the other kids (ten years old) said they all stopped at the same time so we had to play again and I beat them even worse. But overall it was fun and I got a prize; hyper orso and grand cetus
I went to a tournament a few days ago. I would've won all the matches were it not for this kid who modified his beys, like making a Basalt Pegasis spin right and left. That kid was insane, though. Everyone was using pathetic beys, with the exception of a few people who had some alright combinations.
Is it still on pls reply

There might be one more Toys "R" Us event left in 2011, I think. However, they are really not tournaments, so you can use whatever you want, nobody checks ...
