Have Hasbro tournaments ever given away recoloured beys like that? Also makes me more upset that the Toys R Us in Thunder Bay won't open till May... IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED FOR XMAS.
(Grumble grumble grumble...)
I hope this means that Brave version Anubius versions will go down in price, I'd love to get one.
I'll try to get a few of them if possible, and maybe I could sell them or something on here. But honestly, I really think hasbro is going to release the brave version of Anubis normally. This is probably one of the best things Hasbro has done since the Black Sun Galaxy Pegasus event. SO EXCITED!
I want tht Murcury Anubis.... =D im going to get 5... i get 20$ allowance and im in the age restriction...I know it started already but how does it work
This better come to the US, since I want that Mercury Anubis. I better start finding combos to use!
Can you actually use combos for these? I know at a lot you have to use out of the box ones.

I would love to participate if they did it at my Toys R Us, but I just 1 year above the limit. They like me coming there, though. They told me it's cool I am not afraid to buy beys anymore even though I am 14.
LOOOOOOOOL, for these ones you have to use the beys they provide, but I've heard some of the Toys R' Us's let you bring your own combos, and HDSK what do you mean by "your under the age restriction" your profile says you are 12, you have to be 8-13 to participate! :p
That would be terrible, but if you know what beys they will let you use, you can decide which to use ahead of time.
I'd use Twisted Tempo, haha. I'd say that would be the most unbeatable bey in a Hasbro stadium, haha.
True, definitely. but what if it is only Metal Fury beys?
It says underneath the Rules of play, for the section Equipment that "Players must choose from the 12 Metal Fury Tops Provided by Toy's R' Us" Sucks that they only let you use Metal Fury, if I could've used something like Hell Kerbecs or Twisted Tempo, probably no one could beat them :p
Stamina types usually dominate in Hasbro Stadiums, so I would use a combo like Phantom Bull W145WD, which is my best stamina customization as of right now. If they don't allow W145, I would use AD145 or 230/TH170D.
All Toys "R" Us in Canada except in Québec, what the hell hahah. Québec is already always disadvantaged by the age limit because apparently only kids above thirteen years old can participate in "contests".

The winners from each Toys "R" Us will also be entered in a draft for a "Grand Prize" as follows :

Quote:One (1) $1,000 Toys“R”Us Gift Card
One (1) personalized Beyblade framed animated cel of the Grand prize winner and his or her favourite Beyblade characters ($450)
One (1) framed blue print design of a Beyblade toy signed by the toy designer ($200);
One (1) Portable Gaming System and two (2) Beyblade Games ($210)
One (1) Beyblade Dome ($49.99)
Two (2) Metal Basic tops ($25.98)
Two (2) Beywheelz battlers ($29.98)
One (1) Beywheelz Collision Arena ($14.99)
Two (2) 2013 Hyperblade ($31.98)
Two (2) 2013 Electro-Sparking Top ($15.99)

That is a big prize... I'd imagine that portable gaming system is a 3DS for obvious reasons.

Only after the draft ... Obviously it is not all first-place winners at each Toys "R" Us in Canada who will get that.
That still is a lot though...
lol if this ends up being a Canada only thing, can I give $60 bucks to someone so they can get me 3 Mercury Anubius'?

You'd have to give $20 to three different people to get three of them. The way something like this works is that you get only get one if you spend $20 or more, not one per every $20. I remember reading that there's only a certain amount in stock per store.
Gosh this better be US. If not, than Hasbro will most likely release this as a starter (whatever ver.) like they did with the Ds Beys. I mean, if they want money, they know people want this, and HASBRO won't pass up an extra dime.

Or you can just make 3 separate purchases of $20; yes there are 60 in stock at each TRU.
I have GIGANTIC news! Today I went to register myself for the tournament at TRU, and I went t the toy section, and I saw mercury Anubis n the beyblade shelves! The only problem was, is that, they're was a sign that said, "releasing march 16th, not for sale yet" so I'm guessing hasbro is going to have them for sale, and oh, the price tag said it costs $10.47. Smile

HOLY KING TUT BATMAN, HASBRO IS MAKING MERCURY ANUBIS OUT FOR THE PUBLIC! WHAT DID THE PACKAGE LOOK LIKE???
And you seriously took no photograph of the shelves as proof ? It really sounds weird to me that they would put the product but say that you cannot buy it before a certain date ...

It wouldn't surpirse me if some cashier messed up and sold it to someone ahead of time, its not like when you check something out, they ask "Did it say it was allowed to be purchased yet?" Hope that happens so we don't have to wait so long to see what its gonne be like. (Package, make sure weight is same, etc)
