whiplash with string launcher

Hi everyone!
I see a lot of videos online recommending letting go of the string launcher during the throw.
However, I see this causing significant whiplash, with the string often touching the beys just thrown into the stadium or the opponent's hands.
Is this legal? Or could it be considered dangerous play?
I can't find any specific instructions on this in the rules.
I thank anyone who can help me clarify this doubt.

It's legal. It shouldn't be interfering with the beys though, if it is you will need to change the angle youre pulling at to change the direction it snaps back in. If you find it's hitting your fingers, it's recommended to wear a glove
Thank you for your reply. What worries me is that it hits the opponent's fingers. It's happened to me several times, and while it's not very painful for me, even if it's annoying, if it hits a child it can hurt.
