Um that's just the limited versions that were released last year as prizes in the 2012 World Hobby Fair. This is said in noted in the beywiki draft for Thief Phoenic. Read around to check what you post is correct before you post it. You should know that.

Yes but isn't the limited edition ver. a deeper red? In the pictures of the limited edition version it seemed much darker than this "orangish" ver.

I think it's just the picture. They'd be darker and less orange looking in real life.

It definitely seems odd that he is selling it for so cheap, especially in comparison to powerpig88's which is close to 5x more money and Zionsons. I don't remember exactly how much Zionson charged for one, but I remember it being a large lump of cash followed by a disclaimer that stated it was for serious collectors.

All his stuff is cheap. He either has good sources or all of the sellers on ebay buy for around that price and he's not greedy as the others.

That isn't a proper HMS grip. I don't like that the proper one is on the box and then the weird sonokong one is the one you actually get.

Definitely not a good price on the grip.

I saw that lot, it looked okay, but I can't really tell what full beys are in there. I guess it's not horrible for someone willing to take a risk, since there is a lot of parts in there.

Agreed - that trick burned me on the sonokong metal challenge set. This is what actually comes in the set:


It doesn't take any of the customize grip accessories (spring trigger, grip rubber). The top half that holds the launcher is removable and does fit in the proper customize grip, but that's not much of a benefit. Definitely a dirty trick to show something on the box that really has nothing to do with the contents.

I hate sellers like these. I thoroughly doubt their prices are going up. They're just greedy. They have no understanding of business. Just because supply is going down doesn't mean the price automatically goes up too. Price depends a lot more on demand than supply and if anything the demand for plastics is at an all time low mainly because of greedy sellers putting high prices on things which put people off. I've messaged Kitechan on ebay (he's the one who sells all the sonokong on ebay.) asking him why the prices have increased. If he doesn't reply I think we have our answer.

Forgot to post this till now:

I asked the lone sonokong seller why his prices have increased and he said it's solely because his supplier has put the price up. He can't do anything about it bar find a new supplier which would be such a hassle there would be no point and it may not even be possible since it's pretty fair to assume that his supplier is the biggest supplier anywhere for sonokong plastic beys. So if you've been putting off getting either Dragoon G, Dranzer G or Dranzer MS get them now because there's a good chance that the price will only be going up. I am seriously considering buying a lot of stock for the ones that will increase for the sole purpose of selling them lower. This will only work to a certain extent though but if I do it for a prolonged period of up to six months sales should fall enough that it force them to put the price down, since the only reason the supplier can increase the price is because he alone controls the market.

In summary I will soon be selling Dragoon and Dranzer G as well as Dranzer MS at a lower price solely to counteract the fact that prices are only likely to increase from the already insane price they're at now. Doing this for a prolonged period should force the prices for Dragoon G back to a reasonable level since the greedy sellers on ebay all have their prices the same because it benefits them.
