It's almost 2025, it's time to cap off our 2024 with a tournament! This tournament will also act as Arizona's qualifier for Beyblade South in Houston, Texas. The top 2 Bladers will be given free tickets to the regional event on January 10-12.
For more info on Beyblade South, see here. If you can't make it there or are not sure, no worries! I still encourage you to come and play this tournament regardless. Prizes will be provided for top 3 spots in this tournament.
This event will have a participant cap of 24. If you want to participate, please sign up ahead of time on the tournament page here by clicking "Join Tournament". Please pay the $5 admission fee to me directly when you arrive, via cash, PayPal, or Zelle.
The tournament will take place on Saturday, December 28th and begin at 4:00 PM. Please show up at least 15 minutes before for check-in and announcements. If you are running late, please let me know or else the tournament will begin without you. You can PM me here or DM me on Discord @ slurpinpuffs.
This tournament will have two stages:
The First Stage will be Swiss 3on3 format, first to 4 points. Each blader will play 5 rounds, with the top 8 bladers moving on to the Final Stage. If there are less than 17 participants, we will do Group Round Robin or Round Robin instead.
The Final Stage will be Single-Elimination 3on3 format, first to 7 points. For info on match types, see the WBO Match Types Guide.
The following Bit may not be used in this tournament: Metal Needle (it's not good anyways, trust me).
For the general rules of Beyblade X, please see the WBO's X Format Rules. I will be quickly going over the rules before the tournament for new players.
