My Challenge!

Story: Boy preparing to leave for any city you wish, leaving his friends behind.
First Person
Turn in by July 10th
At least two paragraphs, no more than six. Erm... VERY LONG EDIT: (I like longer stories. If six is too long, put it in a spoiler that says "Long Story, Caution" I'll drop the minimum, but you can't really get a feel for the character with only two paragraphs. Besides, it makes it more fun, and more thought has to go into the story. [subnote: The min/max will NOT count against you in the voting. If you do three, your story will count just as much as someone who did five will.] I'd prefer to keep the max six, if that's okay.)
