Who do you guys think is the better mechanic and why?

I did not include Maru or Mal because she was not really that much of a mechanic and not as impressive compared to her master, Madoka.

In the manga and I think in the anime too, Kyoujyu actually builds the upgrades, whereas Madoka generally only cleaned Beyblades up.

I always found Kenny more interesting to be honest. Maybe its because he actually had more importance in the anime than Madoka does now.
I don't know if I can call him a better mechanic or not, but yeah, he did seem to be better than Madoka.
He (and Dizzi) explained things better... The upgrades he made were just amazing... (OK, Kai-V mentions that Madoka never upgraded things. In that case, Kenny wins hands down)

This would be Off-Topic but-
Masamune's Coach is the greatest mechanic. Being able to create Blitz Unicorno having just a weird blueprint(while not being a certified mechanic) for reference is nice enough...

Kyoujyu did more explaining only in the original version ... In the dub, it was "Dizzy", and even that was horrible.

I wouldn't really consider madoka a mechanic, rather, she's basically a bey car wash. The only thing she does to beyblades is clean them, shine them, and sometimes replace broken parts. She also doesn't have that much knowledge but basically just reads off her laptop.
Kenny on the other hand is knowledgeable, upgrades beyblades, fixes them, and is pretty smart when it comes to them (mind you, he gets real weird in the BEGA bit...but it doesn't take away from his geniusness). So in case you haven't gathered it from my post, Kenny is better by a long shot.

Totally agree with Kai-V. Madoka only clean the beys, they are not comparable in any way, Kenny is a real bey-mechanic, almost all bey of the bladebreakers until the G-Revolution (in the anime) was designed by him, in the manga series this changes a little.

I think the best mechanic would be Masamune's coach
Because he actually knows what he's doing. Made a 4D bey out of a 4 year old-like blueprint. It is true he was older, but still.

Kenny for sure. He upgraded beyblades and made a system from scratch (HMS). He also helped a lot in G-Revolution

and your implying that madoka is a airhead? She is far from it. but anyway its kinda ridiculous to contrast to characters who have the same role in different universes. but even still i would pick madoka.

Uhm. So... what exactly. It is canoncally stated that this laptop is self-made. Madoka is a hacker and it is highly likely that she wrote the entire analysis program herself. I don't see what is lazy about that... or unknowledgable. Madoka needs to have profound bey-knowledge to write and use a program that can analyze special abilities and fighting styles in a matter of seconds.
She does know a lot about beys and truly cares about them and what she does.

Sadly, I can't compare her mechanical skills with Kenny's because I completely lack knowledge about Kenny. I can imagine that he is a better mechanic though, because I think Madoka's talent lies a bit more in computer work (she controlled a spaceship from the ground without any training, I mean).

I'm just jumping in to mention that the computer does not simply do her work but rather is her work.

It's said in the episodes on the train, before they battle the Russian team. She's talking to Aleksei at the train bistro and mentions it, I think... At the very least that's what it says in the German dub.

In the English dub, it said it was custom made (I think). That doesn't mean she made it.

Huh... alright then. Sorry about that. I rely on German dub because it's easier for me to watch (I can get it on DVD, wohooo), so mistakes might come from that. 'Hand-made' is the wording over here, which sounds tons more personal.

I'd like to know the Japanese now, but since I don't speak it well enough... whatever.

Though if it's about computers and what she's shown to be able to do with them, I'd say it's not far-fetched she wrote at the least part of the programs.

Kenny wins since he upgraded and fixed the blades where as Madoka just fixed the Beyblades
