Washing your bey

I have told all my friend about this great washing technique so I have decided to share it with the world! Okay, some people might say that washing your beys will cause them to rust but that's only if your careless.

To wash your bey:
1) Take it apart
2) Get a wet tissue and wash the Energy Ring, the Fusion Wheel, the spin track and the performance tip (Don't wash the Face Bolt if you want to keep the sticker).
3) Give them all a hard wash and remember that some things might look like scratches but some are actually washable.
4) Get some dry tissues and wrap the pieces up like a mummy, gently squeeze them then unwrap them.
5) Get some more tissues and wash of any remaining water(This is were you have to be careful, make sure you wash all the water of the Fusion Wheel or it will rust!).
6) Check your bey for any remaining water. If you find some clean it up.
7) Put your bey back together and your done!

Sometimes if your in a hurry you can skip some parts such as 3 and 4.
Try and wash your bey whenever something big has happened to it.

Hope you find these tips useful!Wink

Coool.

I might try it on a crappy bey....Just in case. Im not sure if it should belong here though?
You can actually use a slightly wet glasses-cleaner. Using tissues tends to get paper stuck on your bey Tongue_out.
Cool!
Just wondering if the paint on the wheel will wash.....i'ma not take risk...
Try it on Sag. though
Add toothpaste for a fresh minty smell!

I use a toothbrush without water most of the time. I add water just to make it sparkle.

To get paint off of a RF just scrape it off with your fingernail.
mmm, well i can tell you guys this, if this doesn't work on the metal parts, you can try sand paper or steel wool. ill try this as i have run out of steel wool and my lightning wheel needs a wash.

Mind telling us your techniques to wash a Bey?
Nano: well i first check if there is any sticky or oily substance on the metal wheel, witch i just clean of with a damp cloth, and then get some steel wool. i just rub the wool in the direction of any scratches on the wheel, this takes any dirt on the metal (normally dark smudges on the wheel) and makes it look shiny. this is only a last resort as the dirt comes back more easily.
I might try this out on one one of my old beys. But the technique looks good though.
My rock leone is cleaner than before. Thanks for the steps. My brother on the other hand left all 7 of his metal fusion wheels in a fish tank for a week. Just to let you know it was a old fish tank with no fish in it. And so he came up with some stupid idea to pour pine soul in it. With out a doubt it rusted a little.
i wash my bey at lest 2 times a week or soo just to keep them clean and to keep dust away form them and they still look like their new i do it this way coz i like in a deisert and here theirs alot of sand and dust and sand can really mess up a bey and a love em so much i dont want that to happen that and my sister and brother have Asthma and if our place or things get really dusty they can get suck and have a Asthma attack

they wouldn't get dusty if they are kept in a box for storage...

you have bad grammar...
i keep them in in a mini backpack that looks like a forg it's just i dont want to take any chaseswith them get dusty or them gettin sick
this made my ldrago wheel clearer but it didn't get some black smudges off. it did nothing with the metal wheel but clean glue tack seams to do the trick for that.
Well nice to see that it is working for most of people , my dark bull needs a wash maybe i will try it later today , thank you for the help Blakeyboy , if there was a reputation system here i would definitely add repute to you for such a helpful thread Smile

Cover your RF's in Nail varnish... it stops it from wearing.

Wow! This really works... Sweet.. Clean clean bey. But I did something else, That THOROUGHLY cleaned my Metal wheel. Add soap to your Metal Wheel, Wash it like in the OP, Take a Standard Eraser, and Thoroughly Rub the bey...

If you use a eraser wont it lose some of it's shine ???

Just asking never tried it , if it does not lose the shine i will try it
Off topic, but I just use some Brasso cleaner. I can just ride into town and grab some at the hardware store. Less than $5. All you need is to use a towel to rub it off. I don't use the wool kind, but instead I use the liquid kind.

If you buy it new out of the box, Don't use it. But if it's used, then go ahead, It makes it really shiny and clean.
