WBO Organized Play Updates April 2024: Union Power Mode Legality in Burst Limited

Greetings World Bladers!

We have a small update to the Burst Limited (BSL) rulebook. Following discussion on the topic, the Union Gatinko Layer Base can now be used in its Power Mode configuration for the Burst Limited format. In other words, you can now use your Takara Tomy or Hasbro Pro Series Union Swords. Note that the Union Gatinko Layer Base and Union Swords may NOT be mixed with the HyperSphere System versions; this is reflected in the rulebook update, under "Beyblade/Part-Specific Rulings".

Old Wrote:All Gatinko, Superking, & Dynamite Battle Layers (Takara Tomy), except:

1. Ace
   
2. Rock
   
3. Grand
   
4. Slash
   
5. Venom
   
6. Erase
   
7. Union (Speed Mode only)
   
8. All Gatinko Chips except Diabolos 1 are allowed, and the Gen Layer Weight must be used.

Beyblade/Part-Specific Rulings

1. System Exclusivity: The Gatinko Layer (Pro Series) version of the Union Layer Base and Union Sword cannot be mixed with the HyperSphere version of the Union Layer Base and Union Sword.
