Video Games You Strongly Dislike With A Burning Passion

I'd say hate, but that's too strong of a word...

Anyways, this is the thread to talk about video games you absolutely hate. Be sure to explain why, and be polite.

I don't like CoD: Black Ops. They got rid of the riot shield and the campaign wasn't nearly as fun (For me). Furthermore, the maps were all too big (save nuketown). It's was hard to find people and have fun with the game.

As a side note: I searched the forum and didn't see a thread like this. If I'm wrong, please tell me.
There's a sonic game for Xbox 360,, I think it's sonic Unleashed? I hate that game. There's so much pointless poo carp in it, then too much loading in and between the stupid stuff.

Level one took like 30+ tries to beat.
CoD: Black Ops.

The worst Call of Duty game in the history of Call of Duty. They patched Quick scoping with a sniper and the guns are the worst yet. The maps weren't bad but they were the worst in the series and Nuketown was way too small.

That level was too easy. If you want hard, try the last level which switches between night and day +16 times and has3 bosses. It is also for PS3.

For a game I hate, Sonic and the Secret Rings. Bad still-frame cutscenes, bad controls, and the order to play the levels was impossible to figure out. On the upside it had DarkSpine Sonic in the last level.

The only thing that was even likable about any of the sonic games for me was the chao's (I think they were called). You could raise them to be dark chao's or good chao's, but that was the inly fun part.

Sonic The Hedgehog '06 was by far the worst, though. The graphics gave me nausea.
Sonic Colors. Why? The game is so convoluted. Like, on the first level, you start off upside down and you're like "WHAT THE HELL IS EVEN HAPPENING" and then you start running, but it turns out - it's a cutscene! But you don't know that at first, so you're mashing buttons until you realize it is a cutscene. Then, when you're actually SUPPOSED to be controlling the game, you don't think so, so these robots come out and own you. Not to mention the controls are just all over the place becuase you're constantly switching between first person and side scrolling. Throw it in a bowl and mix it with cutscenes that take as long as the hairs grow on a naked mole rats behind, and sprinkle on some vomitful voice acting, and BAM - you've got a carp sundae called Sonic Colors. Man, I've noticed that Sonic is getting a lot of bashing. What happened? Well, I think I know why. The Sonic Team doesn't play test their games. They don't know if something is jacked up because they never see it. They didn't know that in Sonic Colors no one would have any idea what they're doing. They didn't know in Sonic the Hedgehog for Game Boy Advance that it slowed down. The Sonic Team is not cool anymore.

Gosh, I'm turning into the Angry Video Game Nerd.
I'd say Black Ops because of the mad crazy fans who love it and play it every night for about 5 hours.

But from personal experience, Any Sonic game and Wii Sports are games I hate, Wii Sports Resort was very good, but I hated WS 1, maybe it's because it was the only game I had for my Wii for about 2 months and I always got bored and wanted to play on my Wii, and it tired me out (Boxing, I hate you and always will.) Sonic speaks for itself, am I the only one who preferred the voices from before Sonic Colours?

They have a new game that I still enjoy, has a collection of the good old classics. But Colors sounds like evil so far.
LoZ Twilight princess... Never really liked the wii storyline games anyway.....
all the call of duty's after CoD 3

I just think theres to many and there repetitive
Sonic series... MY FLIPPING GOODNESS.

Same carp, different game. An anorexic, blue, spikey person as an excuse for a hedgehog fighting against the same obese man who has an obsession with eggs and machines in a race to collect some flipping gems which apparently give power when they should be sold for a hell lotta money.

Gameplay? Such a word doesn't exist in Sonic.. why? Flip you hold one direction for half the stage, jump around then hold another direction to finish! And the bosses?! Jump. Spin-Dash. Retreat. Get hit. Jump. Spin-Dash. Retreat. Get hit.

GOD, Sonic is the most annoying character ever and to me one of the worst series I've ever played. I don't even get why it's so damn popular... It made SEGA put less attention to their better titles such as The House of the Dead and Virtua Fighter. Stupid SEGA!

And on a side note: I love beating the carp outta Sonic on Super Smash Bros. Brawl especially with Snake because Metal Gear Solid is the best shooter in history!

(Needa catch my breath)
Conspiracy: Weapons of Mass Destruction

This game is disastrously awful, I got it for a present, I don't know if it was more of an insult, like getting coal at Christmas. Playing as Cole Justice, Ex-Government agent, you trundle through 4 different levels and environments. The graphics look like there from the PS1, even though this was a later release on PS2, it was even ported :\ . There were only 3 difficulty levels from what I remember and only 4 levels.

Jungle
Antarctic
Office
Ship

All of them completely sucked, I remember one level you started on and the moment you moved forward you got attacked by a rocket launcher and 2 snipers. The box design was dreadful too, it looked like someone made it and printed it on A4, it wasn't professional at all. It took like only 2 hours to complete the game, utter junk.

I've only played it once and never touched it since, I would never ever buy a copy.

Eurogamer reviewed it and gave it 1/10

I hate Super Paper Mario, on the Wii.

No, really, I hate it.

I'm a huge fan of the first Paper Mario on N64 and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, on Gamecube. I was really looking forward for a Wii installement of this excellent RPG series. What do they do? They make it a side-scroller.

Okay, it's nice to pay hommage to the original Mario games, but that's why we have New Super Mario Bros. Wii, do keep the side-scrollers out of the RPG series. The story, while mildly interesting, is pretty much ruined by the very cliché villains and plot devices. Your parterns, very interesting characters with actual stories to them, in the other games, now have absollutely no personnalities and are basically just powers to use in certain situations (Situations that make it very obvious what to use) The Pixels are just horribly designed blurry images that speak once and never raise voice again.

The gameplay is okay, I guess, but it gets really repetitive and boring. There's an ennemy, whack him. Another ennemy, whack him. There's two ennemies, whack them. And so on. In the RPG games, there was actual strategy, you didn't just blindly jump on ennemies.

I'll tell you basically what certainly happened during production of this game. "Hey, y'know, those side-scrolling stages, in Paper Mario 2, with Bowser in 'em? They were really popular! What if we made a whole game like that?" asked a programmer. "Great idea, Frank! Let's start right away!"

And yeah, it's pretty much only because of the Bowser stages of Paper Mario 2 that this game exists.

I hate it. That's all.

EDIT: I also find the title ridiculous. Super Paper Mario. It would have made some kind of sense if this was on the Super Nintendo, but this is the Wii. C'mon, guys Uncertain
I really hate shrek the 3rd on DS.
It's boring, I was playing it then nothing intresting was happing then It got more boring as I go along then I just didn't play it anymore.
I hate and I mean HATE drawn to life 2. It's so stupid because on the VERY FIRST LEVEL some random Tsunami knocked me off the stage. COME ON
Spiderman Web of Shadows.

Retarded and Repetitive. Terrible voice acting , Redundant gameplay , terrible graphics and no easy-to-follow plot. If you ask me, that game was way too hyped up.
i will hate mostly ANY game based on movies they suck carp cuz they don't even tell the right story and is not even fun. They make it really boring and t character designs suck.
I am agreeing with that fully.

The only movie games I have exceptions to is really Spiderman.

But, I really hate Tom Clancy's. I heard they suck.
ok, i would say any game that involves strong violence or war like COD or Street Fighter but theres only one game that i hate more than them, and that goes to the first bakugan game on the DS. worst game ever. one, no stratergy, just some fancy styalis minigames that take 10 seconds at most to complete them. plus it's super short. know what to do and it can take a day, 5 hours to the pro gamer. worst game i have ever played.

Street fighter is hardly COD's amount of violence, street fighter's not even half bad, and I've only played the 3DS demo about 2-3 times, I agree on the Bakugan game, it's very realistic though, as it requires no skill other than the power to roll a small ball accurately.
