[Unanswered]  Wizard rod’s ring problem

If you ever were a big wizard rod fan you would probably know that wizard with ring lock ratchets don’t work well most times. The lock of the blade and rachet is looser and it makes combos with it kinda bad. Is there any combo that does good without 9-65? Put your opinion below

P.s wizard on m-85 on elivate or merge don’t count

I'm pretty sure any ring lock ratchet on any bey other than clock mirage will perform poorly. Clock mirage is the exception only because of the simple lock only gimmick.

The lock system is tighter with golem rock
No, simple ratchets are not tighter with GolemRock.

Simple ratchets in general aren't really worth running outside of ClockMirage and CobaltDragoon, and even then only 4-55 (and likely 7-55 when that drops)
There is no blade that holds onto simple ratchets better. If you have a tight one you got lucky

I would bet that both of these examples would be the same random mould differences that randomize burst resistance on any other part. They would probably be tighter with normal ratchets as well.
Dayum didn’t think I’d get this much replies in 1-2 hours of making this post😵

Golem rock with 4-55 point has a tighter lock then wizard rod

Heck, only had success with golem rock 4-55 point or rush
Again, if you have a blade that holds onto to them tighter, you got lucky. The average GolemRock does not hold into simple ratchets better.

If you tested wizard rod on ring ratchets you will know it’s more below average trust

The whole reason to make post was to focus on wizards lock problem with it not golems nor wizard arrows
It's really not that hard of a concept to understand. Also @fabelavalon tests combos, and goes to tournaments, A BUNCH so I'd really consider listening to what he has to say.

You are quite literally the one who brought GolemRock into the conversation.

That is random chance, not every copy would be like that. only a couple copies. GolemRock does not in fact have a guaranteed burst boost over WizardArc, Takara Tomy would have mentioned it. Unless you have multiple copies of each part mentioned that all have the same burst boost or weakness, the difference is the same random mould variability that makes one copy of a blade heavier than another. Why would Takara Tomy give a random defense type whose main gimmick is being short a gimmick like that? Also, the only ring lock ratchet that even existed when GolemRock released was 3-85.

Edit: Wizard rod has no evidence of less burst resistance than any other bey. The burst resistance would only ever differ because of the Bit, or the ratchet's shape. People have already told you that it's a random mould variation, what is your evidence that it isn't?

Look man. This is my opinion. And yes it might be bad. But I feel like it’s unfair that when it’s me doing it it gets hated I mean sure it’s biased but I just need atleast 1 person to atleast think about it. And yes burger cat I am sorry if I brought you friend into this. I just wasn’t thinking straight.

It's not an opinion that wizard rod has worse burst, again, it's a random mould variation, and saying it isn't is most likely FACTUALLY false. If you're referring to Shelter Drake, I wouldn't know, but making a post like the one you did for the shelter Drake situation would be a mistake.

I didn't even know getting this many responses this fast was even possible on forums like this.
Thing is, even if this was true, the simple lock ratchets are already mid anyways. There's no reason to be using them on Wizard Rod. Do you just mean that the simple lock ratchets (4-55, 9-65, 3-85, M-85) aren't as tight as regular ratchets? That's just how they are, it's got nothing to do with what blade they're on (outside of random variation, as Fabel said).

so with my ratchets that I have some are loss enough but not too loss (if I spell wrong i'm sorry) but I think it's just because of the battles you have with Rod Wizard that it's ring lock is like that but I'm sure it's still good maybe try a different bit with it maybe High taper with the ratchet and see it performs better or trade out the ratchet with a different one but still in the 5 area maybe 5-60 or 5-80

also I know I'm not staff but reading the posts here it doesn't seem like you guys are trying to help a fellow blader. we bladers don't turn on each other
