[Unanswered]  Switching Outer Launcher Components (Burst LR Launchers)

Are you allowed to switch the outer parts of Launchers with exact copies of them even if they are a different color like with the Cho-Z Achilles LR and the Master Diabolos LR? I wanted to know because I wanted to put some color customization into my launchers but wasn’t sure if it was legal for WBO tournaments. The rulebook doesn’t seem to say anything about this.
Like, if you wanted the top of the red launcher to go on the bottom of the blue launcher, and still have a functioning launcher? I think it should be fine.

I’m not sure, as I’ve seen players been denied when doing this, but I’ve seen a few judges use it so I dunno. I think it’s a no though, as you’re dissembling the launcher

You’re disassembling the launcher when you switch identical components between two identical launchers. I don’t see what disassembly outside of tournaments hurts if you’re switching identical components. The rules didn’t seem to explain outer parts which is why I even opened this thread in the first place.
If it's evident that your launcher has been disassembled, it should be ineligible for tournament play regardless of performance of the launcher.

That doesn’t even make sense. The rulebook says you’re allowed to switch worn launcher components (internals wise) with identical launcher components from the exact same launcher, so I’m a bit confused where this “disassembly” rule is coming from.

As it says, exact same launcher. The Master and Achilles launchers may have different molds. If it’s two Master launchers then I think it’s fine, but other than that, I don’t think so.

That’s my two cents.

Good point. I wasn’t sure if the outer parts had any different components or not so I wanted to know.
This rule does seem fairly unclear. On one hand, switching the Launcher shells doesn't affect performance in any way, but on the other hand, you're not allowed to swap the parts between Layer recolors. It seems like the thought process behind these kinds of rules is that something is illegal if there's proof of disassembly, such as swapping parts with different colors or missing screws (although missing screws would also be considered a performance-based modification).
