[Unanswered]  Question about the differnces between Burst and the older beys

so i was asking a friend of mine a question about

why did they make the beyblade bursts beys wider than the older ones

and his answer was "probably because they're newer versions.."

i know im asking the same question here ,but curious to ask ,just out of sheer curiosity ,does anyone here think the older designs are better
or do you think the new designs are better?

and to follow up on this topic ,when did Beyblade Burst come out orginally?

and my only other question is ,what is the brust stat for? if i may ask
well it depends if you do a metal fusion battle you win by 1 point but burst battles are 2 points , burst battles are longer and the beyblades are more fragile but the metal fusion beys are full metal and have short battles like i have 5 metal fusion beys and 9 burst beyblades andmetal fusion is cheaper.
When Burst first launched, the beys were as wide as the the first two generations of MFB/Metal saga. The second generation for burst was the Dual Layer gen, where the beys became larger than the first two MFB gens but equal size to 4D generation of beys. Now the God Layer/SwitchStrike gen of burst beys are just a little bit wider than 4D and Dual Layer beys(excluding mG and nL of course). I'm not too sure about the width of the Super Z beys.

In my opinion,  I'm leaning more towards the Burst generations designs mostly because they're a lot more dynamic and colorful due to the layers being made of plastic(but some have metal in them too). For how well they do in battle, I'd say you can't compare them. They're two completely different series that have their own meta, so you can't quite compare them in terms of how well they can do.

Beyblade Burst first came out in Japan in 2015. Every year, it has been given a new gen(dual layers, God layers, Super Z layers). Hasbro first released Burst in 2016? I'm not too sure but I'll be sure to look back for it.

Burst stat? As in the ones on the back of Hasbro packaging? If so, the stats are pretty much all incorrect as it doesn't really say what a beys can actually do. It's more or less a marketing technique.
oh okay that all makes sense ,thank you for the input on this subject ,and to add one more question its about the launcher
besides them being to wide to fit onto the older ones ,and they seem to short in my opinion

do they come in other styles ,besides the ones they come packaged in?

as in is there other kinds besides just the standard one in the package that you can psyically buy?
if not thats fine i just was curious is all ...well that and i cant get a good grip on the ones i just bought

The Burst system launcher prongs are shorter to accommodate the Bursting mechanic, it still functions the same as other series tho.

For burst there a quite a lot of types of launchers. There are the proto launcher, Light launchers(with normal winder or long winder), Beylaunchers(there are right spin ones and left spin ones), Beylauncher LR, Light Launcher LR(with normal or long LR winder), Sword launcher, and Digital Sword launcher.
There are a bunch of launchers and launcher accessories that you can buy, and some special launchers are included with some certain beys. If you need some extra grip then I recommend getting, a grip XD. They're pretty useful as you can attach them to almost any launcher and you can position it in two ways to fit your launching style.

Oh I also forgot, all that is for Tamara Tomy launchers. Hasbro only has the basic blue launchers, supergrip launcher(better for grip), master kit string launcher(also great for grip), SwitchStrike launchers, and the upcoming sword launcher that's included with a special X3.

Hasbro released their line of Beyblade Burst in 2016
thank you very much for listening and suggesting these to me i think im understanding the format better Smile
