[Unanswered]  Is higher rpm always better in bey x?

As the title says do you guys soft launch when using a stamina type against attack types? Or do you give it all with max rpm
Great question: IMO, it really depends on what your opponent has, what your opponent's launch is looking like, and what your bey's projected win condition is. Sometimes a soft launch with more control is better than maximum RPM like in the scenario you described, or in another case in a left vs right spin match to try equalizing, but this isn't always the case. Sometimes you really just gotta let it rip. Think of your launch more like a golf swing, sometimes you putt but sometimes you drive, so it takes time to develop. Also don't forget to try and use all of the "clubs" at your disposal, ie string AND ripcord, they both have their strengths!
i agree with GearSportsGuys answer, but Ive been using a weight while practicing to get faster and faster.

Does higher rpm result to more recoil?

Generally yes

Attack needs more control. Hard launching usually ends with a self ko.

True but if you understand how to control your hard launch then your Attack Bey you can avoid it happening a lot. For me at least that's the case.

From what I see, as long as you learn how to do a good tilt launch with your Attack beys you should avoid self KOs majority of the time
As all have said, depends on the match of course. In general you have to weigh the risks of higher recoil and tip control. I am really attached to trying to get GP into a competetive combo, but if I don't limit myself by using a string launcher on it its just to hard to get consistent control. For high recoil beys like Shark Edge you might be inclined to think more RPM = stronger attack, but in my limited testing it almost always backfires and that recoil ruins it's stamina. Even in a mirror match with Rod 9-60 B, a stronger launch isn't necessarily going to win you the match. At my last tournament I had a couple of those mirror matches, and it can really go either way.

TLDR: You'll need to practice with your deck against some popular combo's and get a sense for when it will be best for you to soft launch
One of the common scenarios I see is people hard launching and self KOing. I don't think it's required in matchups where the opponent has a much weaker launch. For example, an adult player hard launching against a child and self-KOing, when they didn't need a 100% launch; a 70% launch would have been sufficient, and had less chance of self KOing.
