So I've always been a Beyblade fan, but I tend to fall out if I'm not battling people on a regular basis. So, I was really into Burst and followed it all the way from single-layer to god-layer, but towards the end of god and the beginning of Cho-Z, I fell out of the loop. Now, Ch-Z is basically done, and GC apparently exists. This begs the question; which is better? GC or Ch-Z? For reference, the two beys I've been looking at are Gheist Fafnir and Wizard Fafnir. So really, I guess, this is a question of Gheist vs. Wizard, but is Cho-Z vs. GC on a larger scale??? If that makes sense. Thanks for your help!
[Unanswered] GC or Cho-Z?
We will not know about wizard fafnir until it comes out, gF isn’t very good but I don’t know how wizard fafnir will be.
Also it’s GT
Also it’s GT
Hi there. The new series out is called GT, short for Gachi or Gatinko. If you are familiar with the Metal Fight Saga, GT is very similar as the layers are made up of 3 parts, a chip, a base, and a metal weight. With Cho-Z as i'm sure you know all of the discs feature metal. In terms of weight alone, Cho-Z and GT are around equal. As of now, Cho-Z still dominates the metagame, however, only 3 beys have been released for GT so far, so my statement may not hold any truth in a while. If you're just concerned about Fafnir though, Geist Fafnir, the Cho-Z version of Fafnir, does well in spin equalization combos but is pretty screwed against other left spin opponents. Wizard Fafnir has not been released yet so no one knows for sure how exactly it will perform, judging from the pictures however, I think it will play a similar role to Geist Fafnir. Hope this helps.
Wizard Fafnir is probably going to be a top tier beyblade just like its predecessor dF once was. It has a lot less recoil than gF which is good since it is a stamina type and specialises in spin equalisation combos and looks fairly similar to drain, it also has the most rubber out of all fafnir's we've had so far. We just have to wait until the 28th until it releases

Yeah, but I still think it won't be that good against other left spin opponents unless it has extremely good teeth and the rubber forces them to burst.

Or the rubber actually spin STEALS instead of merely equalizing. That'd be worth buying, not to mention the incredible weight and use of GT system.
that wizard base is very thick its probably going to be heavy
