Train's Beyblade Art corner (My own recolours with the ideas theflightyellz invented)

Hello all this is my own thread of recolours and special edition beyblades that I create. I need to take a few other pictures but theses are just some of the ones I have dyed.

Word of caution with Lightning L Drago the red lines around the wheel WILL infact dye too. I had to buy a paint marker and attempt to do those lines in BY HAND it was almost painful due to the awkwardness of holding the wheel and trying not to get the paint to drip.

Cool especially love the Flame Bull it looks like its actually on fire.
that storm pegasis is nice
Hm, how did you colour those metal wheels? Car paints?
I absolutely loved the storm Pegasis, the flame bull was cool too.
Bring these to bumpking? o-o

I don't actually recommend doing that. My Flame ended up off balance and the paint is all chipped off. It was with self etching primer and that's Mazda midnight blue and Cranberry red from Ford.

Though they do look amazing.

Pyro has my midnight blue metal wheel too. I put it up as a prize for Beys of Glory and he forgot to give it off to Kei when he left early.
The LLDrago actually looks like a legit flare version. And that Pegasis... It actually looks like Stardust

That's what I was going for but those lines are accidentally pink not red. Thank you though.^^
Are these hasbro beyblades

I dyed them and painted them, but other than the Lightning L Drago 100HF (it's an imported one I got it for the beylauncher L) and the Flame metal wheel painted red (I got a japanese one from a member here when I bought an attack balance pack), yes they are Hasbro parts...

You can't just use a brush and red paint?

I was using what theflightyellz suggested. You should see his Black Hole pegasis it's truly beautiful. Probably could but the paintbrush would have to be like ultra thin for the lines on L Drago there.

Figured I should finally respond to this. Not any of the pieces you see there and definitely not to anyone outside of Ontario Canada. I will have one piece to sell at Things That go Bumpking in the Night.

It's something I've been trying to get done for awhile now and I know at least 2 people will really like it. Not sure if they will want to buy it from me, but we'll see.
I added my first ever big failure. My grip... I just worry someone else will try it without knowing how sensitive the plastic is.

However my experiment with Beylauncher L turned out wonderful. I dipped that in the dye having a zip tie attached to it around the string just below the handle. Once didn't do it for me so I dipped a second time and got it a nice smokey silver.
Lol, same thing will happen if you try it on plastic beyblades.
do you have another grip?

Me? sort of I got the Flame Sag one but I dyed the ugly gold bottom of it and it melted just the same as the rest of the grip up top. I'm looking into just getting a black grip now. Why?
Darn, I really wanted to dye that ugly tool. Though you did save me from epicly failing :]

Why was the zip tie necessary? Wouldn't it be easier to just drop it in and leave it for double the amount of time?
Would you recommend spray painting a Beylauncher? I was thinking of taking mine apart and using an acryllic spray on it.

No no no I only wanted grey. I literally dipped it in and pulled it out like you would with your finger to test if water is hot or not.

Headenbr3: Not a beylauncher you will most likely ruin the string with the paint making it all sticky. Get the dye like I did it can't harm it badly it's only water (given the metal inside isn't capable of rust)
Hm...I was gonna get some dye for my plastic parts anyway so I might as well get another color lol. Have any advice on how to get a color similar to Hasbro's black grip or some kind of metallic black?

If the color didn't matter, wouldn't my method work? And what did you do with the zip tie?

Yeah, if you then want to try and fish a really small part out of a burning hot pan of oil (which will not only dye plastic, work surfaces, floors, carpets, but also your skin).
The cable ties are so you can regularly and easily pull the part out of the dye, check the color, check that it isn't warping at all, and to avoid any drips.

For clear wheels and tracks, slide the cable tie through the middle hole and fasten them.
For bottoms there should be a horizontal gap at the bottom of each one that should just about fit a cable tie through it.
The cable tie is basically just to be used like a handle, although I've seen some people use string, even telephone cable before to dye remote control car parts.

You did a nice job on these train, although the bottoms seem a little bit rough..
Did you not fully submerge them, or have they just been really deeply worn?
Usually the dye actually sinks quite deep in to the plastic, wore an F down to a stump and it still showed the color near the very center.
