Sunday, September 14th, 1PM
High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Standard Format

Well, it's that time of the year again. Summer is coming to a close and school is starting back up again (as much as we all don't want it to), but one thing for sure is that BEYBLADE NEVER STOPS. So get your Beyblade gear out, and be ready to battle! We're hoping to see a lot of Toronto bladers out there on September 14th! Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport for $10 if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 (per tournament) if you plan attending these events.

Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. In case you guys haven't been to our regular tournaments, here are some visual directions.

Directions: (Click to View)

Format: Standard format, probably Block Round Robin.

Tournament Time: Free play and registration will start at 12, and the actual tournament will start at 1 PM.

Prizes: Will be determined at the tournament Wink

Side Note: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread.

We're keeping Toronto's bey-spirit alive, your support thus far is appreciated! Let's keep this up guys! If you wish to attend please post below, I'll start gathering an attendance list.

5 way tie, EVERYONE in our block tied. We had to redo all the matches in our block lol
Great fun today! Saw some great combo's. Got some parts I was looking for as well.

Still surprised that I placed in top 3 using a Light Launcher 2 O_O
Congrats on placing Oldschoolâ„¢! Really happy for you bro!

anyway! i had fun hope to see you guys at B.O.D!
I was glad to rebound yesterday after a relatively poor performance at End of the Era. I hope–no, expect–to see all of you at BEY OR DIE on the 27th! Tongue_out

I still can't believe that happened. I didn't even know it was possible.

Haha, that certainly is an accomplishment!
Oldschool, you placed using a light launcher 2? There's no way you didTongue_out

Well, because there nothing as good as string launchers, that's why.
And especially using heavy beyblades, they will skip gears and not do to well

4th: Close to placing once more, and is turning into Pockyx3, it's the member we all know and love, Midnight!

Serious
Never.

Scott, do we have a statistic on this? I must maintain my position of power.

I've placed 4th roughly around six times, or so, if I could recall.

Dude, just come to more tournaments if you don't want me to keep this up, haha.

The photos of mine will be uploaded later tonight, too.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'll be hosting two events consisting of both Limited and Zero-G on October 12th, as well. The proposal should be uploaded sometime soon, hoping to see you all there!

Haha, yeah. I'll actually make a thread for it and post it right now.

This was last weekend...
I was talking about the new ternaments midnight is hosting, on october 12th

I also have a couple more photographs of Beyblades on my camera, as well. They'll be uploaded to the Photo Gallery thread momentarily. I'm really looking forward to some criticism on them, too!

Speaking of which, I just recently though of the naming, what do you guys think of them?:

Limited: Midnight's Birthday Bash - As the naming isn't that fitting, I did want to get a Birthday tournament of mine done, also getting away from Standard, since we've had tons of those in Toronto this year.

Zero-G: Gotta Revive the Sway - I thought this name would be quite interesting. We've been lacking in Zero-G events this year, so I thought the goal would be to revive the format, haha.

The proposal should be up by the end of the school week of mines, I'll work on a bit of it tonight!
