Eh, I think I'll leave it at that. Join the Toronto Beyblade community on Friday, July 1st, to play in GOOD OLD CANADA BEY, in honor of Canada Day! Let's show our Prime Minister some love and not use too much Orbit though, alright?

We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here! This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if twenty dollars is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that?

We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

Well HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day is in July, so you might be in luck, but I do not know if many regions will host HMS tournaments.

High Park Throwdown 8 in July will definitely be Metal Fight Beyblade! As for Friday, however, I think we are going to keep just the one format. Smile

If an HMS tournament was held, yes. But it is has not been decided if it will be HMS or Plastics.

So I'm hearing weather reports that we've got a chance of thunderstorms in the early afternoon. Is there an enclosed area that we can play in if sky tears try to ruin our fun?

@[Mitsu], why don't we switch the venue to High Park so we have the shelter?

I was going to have a ton of Obelisk Odin T.X. Boosters and a Weight Tamper for sale, but they didn't arrive today so ... I'm probably screwed since it looks like Canada Post will be going on strike. They even got to the processing facility at Toronto today, but ... Unhappy

They are holding my Dir en grey ARCHE DVD hostage as well, and yet the tracking indicates that it left Montréal very early this morning and on normal occasions it would have reached my local facility by noon at the very latest, so it looks like they just did not even bother with packages today, just enveloppes, or perhaps enveloppes and packages that required no signature. At least things in transit are supposed to be secured somewhere at the moment.

Yeah, mine actually had a lot of activity today from 10:30am all the way to 5:30pm (but it was odd because at 1:20 it said "Item into sorting centre" in Toronto, and then the same thing at 5:30), but no luck having it arrive in time ... I just shipped it earlier this week though, so I knew I was taking a risk. Wanted to try and get it in under the gun haha.

Ah, It looks like I won't be able to make it today, because my plans for the day sort of hinged on being nearby Dufferin Park for Canada Day stuff with friends post tournament. You guys have fun though, I'll likely see you the at the next burst thing!
