Bladers! Let's wind down the Anime North weekend winding back the clock with an classic AN format: HMS! Whether you're an HMS veteran, or if you aren't even familiar with the system, if you're going to be at Anime North on Sunday, stop by and give it a try! Everyone will have the opportunity to win cool prizes with our side events as well!

“But I don't have an HMS Beyblade for HMS BeyBattle Revolution!”
No bey? No prob! If necessary, I will allow people to borrow one of my HMS Beyblades for their battles. Smile If anyone else attending can do the same for those in need, it would be appreciated!

In addition to HMS BeyBattle Revolution we will also be hosting several more light-hearted–but still competitive!–side events! Here’s a list of everything we have planned currently:

Side Events
Super Control Beyblade
BeyStadium Tower
Top Plate

Stay tuned for more details on how these will work!

”Why should I participate in all of these events?!”
Participating in the tournaments will of course enable you to win fabulous prizes, but the Side Events will also offer the opportunity for you to not only earn Credits to redeem for prizes from the Blader Rewards, but Face Boosters of all kinds too!

And as an added incentive to encourage everyone to participate in as many of these tournaments as possible, there will be added benefits to participating in any (or all!) of the tournaments at AN!:

Not sure if you should attend?
Take a look at some video at Anime North from previous years and see what you'd be missing. Wink

Entry: You need an AN Pass!
A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention. However, if you want to support the WBO so we can host even better tournaments with even better prizes in the future, and participate in the BeyPoints ranking System in future tournaments, then you will need one! So, if you wish to purchase one at the tournament, that is still possible.

To participate in the tournament, you currently have a few options to gain entrance: a) a weekend pass or b) a day pass for Sunday at AN (and Friday/Saturday Passes if you plan attend the other events on those days). Weekend Passes are currently sold out, but you can still purchase Single Day Tickets. We highly recommend that you purchase a ticket ASAP! There is no guarantee that they will be available at the convention itself.

Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the festivities as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

I would be, but my flight leaves at 3PM. :\
Guys, stop trying to cram more tournaments into this already jam-packed weekend haha. 5 was way too much last year!

Also, @[Team Meteor] like I mention in the OP, don't worry if you don't have any HMS. You will be able to borrow one from myself or someone else. Smile
I'm a maybe
ill be there
9:30 AM on Sunday is pretty early, but I'd love to see HMS again.
Just realized the OP of this thread still said that the event was at the International Plaza. That is incorrect: like Team BeyBattle Revolution, we are playing at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel, most likely in the same room. Still waiting for the schedule to come out before we know exactly which room we will be in, however.
SO i now have some HMS Stuff for sale. If you want any make offers via pm. Ill be bringing these to Anime North.
Does anyone have any of the following stadiums that they could bring for this event?:

- Tornado Balance
- Tornado Balance Type S
- Tornado Attack

I do have TB and TBTS, but I have so much other stuff to bring that it would be nice if someone else could help me out and bring some of these. Let me know!
Leaving at 8:30 and will be at Sheraton by 9:00.

See you all in a bit. Grin
I'll be there soon
We were gone hours ago, though I went for lunch with JesseObre and 1234beyblade and hung out with them, Pyrus10000 and Leone7 a bit afterwards. But anyways, here are the results for the tournament.

1st: Kei
2nd: Cye Kinomiya
3rd: Kai-V
4th: Dark_Mousy

I went 2-3 today, but was one of the three winners for each side event!

Had a amazing time this weekend; kind of sucks it came to an end so soon! It was great seeing you all.

EDIT: We ended up getting 12, @[LMAO]. Smile
Woah, huge congrats to everyone who placed! How many people came out for HMS?
We were twelve in the end, but Minion and Spinster never showed up. We asked one or two parents to play, hah.
Didn't someone join in the tournament a little later to make 13 people? Or was it just that there was 11 originally and they made 12?

On the topic of people not showing up though, I'm a bit disappointed that Bey Brad didn't make an appearance.
If I remember correctly my Block (2) had one more person than Kei's, but that eventually got evened out shortly after the tournament started. I do think we ended up with an even number of participants.
