BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP
SATURDAY, MAY 29, 2010
Anime North 2010 @ Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel

Golden Delicious Room
STANDARD (MFB/BMF) FORMAT

9 AM - Free Battle and Set Up
10 AM - "Beyblade 101" Workshop
11 AM - Free Battle and Registration for Beyblade Revival Cup
12 PM - Beyblade Revival Cup Tournament

In 2008, we hosted the BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD! tournament- which was planned well before we knew that just one short year later MFB would be launching in Japan. However, now the time has come for Bladers all across the nation to celebrate the launch of BEYBLADE: METAL FUSION in Canada! Thus, for the third year in a row we will be hosting our marquee event at ANIME NORTH 2010, hosted by ANGaming, this year under the title; BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP!

No Beyblade? No problem! We're going to try to obtain Beyblades to bring with us so you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade (for approx. $10), then you can play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!

A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention, however if you want to support the WBO so we can host even better tournaments, with even better prizes in the future, and also participate in our world ranking system, the BeyPoints System, then you will need one!

We encourage all Bladers, both the brand new and the old to attend! With Beyblade becoming mainstream again, this has the possibility of becoming the largest tournament we have ever hosted, which means that competition will be fiercer than ever! You don't want to miss it! Hope to see you there!

If you think you'll be able to come, please post here and I will start building an attendance list!

BEY MEET-UP - FRIDAY MAY 28TH
6pm @ Doubletree Lobby

For those of you who can make it on Friday, we're planning on having a small meet-up. It shouldn't be too hard to find us; stadiums will be strewn about the floor, and I'll try to get a BEYBLADE BATTLE STATION poster up.

If there is enough people, we could potentially have a single elimination tournament as well (don't want to complicate things for something small like that).

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Colours look great, like the look you've given it.
Where is Blader DJ.

He can't make it. Hasbro hasn't hired him yet. Unhappy
I'll definitely be going as the hotel is right across from the one I'm staying at.

Really though, $40 for Saturday? Oh geez, that's not a fair price for attendees at all.

I'm lucky I pre-registered for the weekend @_@
The poster looks Great!
Doin a good job, as always.
I said this to drigerGT, and i'd say it to the hosts of this tourny.
Can you guys ever be NOT Awesome?
I like the poster, very nice Smile
Just wondering, where are you guys going to post this poster? AN?

Yeah. Probably at the BEYBLADE BATTLE STATIONS, at the tournament, etc. I may include a copy for the third, second, and first place finishers as well.
Wouldn't mind getting it signed by you guys like Bey Brad did Last year was it?
Um, random question, but what kind of stadiums will be used for the event?
Pegasus Thunder whip is garbage, so will we just use old stadiums?

Any that are allowed in the Standard Format.
Brings me to saying that I can Bring my two Takara-Tomy Attack Stadiums.

It's very easy to find. It's just down the street from the TCC and Doubletree.

Actually, it's the other way around haha. It was formerly the Renaissance.
Me and my buddy are planning to GreyHound over from Kitchener, but it's sketchy right now, and even if we do get over there, direction is between me and some stoner kid, so, chances are we'll get lost.

Just a question, are we allowed to interchange Beyblades for each battle, or do we have to use only one throughout the entire tourney?

You should read the rulebooks.
I did! Couple days ago... I'll do it again...

"...selection is to be considered undecided until the Beyblade is attached to the Launcher."

Sorry to be a pain in the carp, but it's all I have practice in: This statement is not entirely determinant, this may only apply to the first round that a player is engaged in, after that they may have to use the same Beyblade in all subsequent battles. I read too much into things, I know, but I've been screwed before.

Selection of Beyblade and Launcher Wrote:The Blader's Beyblade selection is to be considered undecided until the Beyblade is
attached to the Launcher. Once the Beyblade is attached to the Launcher, that Beyblade
must be used for the duration of the BeyBattle.
This means that for a BeyBattle, you have to use the same Beyblade. For the tournament though, of course you can change if you think one combination would be better against a certain person, or something similar.
OK, thanks. Dayum you're fast...
