This is really cool.

Which side of your brain do you use more? If you use the right side of your brain more, you'll see this woman turn clockwise. If you use the left side of your brain more, you'll see her turn counter-clockwise. I didn't believe it at first, but sure enough, it's true.

Which direction do you see her turn in? Originally, I see her turning clockwise, but if I focus hard enough, I can see her turn counter-clockwise too.
I originally saw it going clockwise, which definitely describes me. However, I found if I looked away and then looked back it would change direction.

It's the placement of the feet, I think!
Wow, weird. It looks like it switches if you focus on it.

*After several minutes* Agh!! This is just plain freaky. I looked on the two lists and there are characteristics I can see in myself from both.

Man... whoever came up with this... you really have to wonder. Pinching_eyes_2

If I stare at the entire picture it eventually seems counterclockwise, but as soon as I look at the foot, it seems to switch back to clockwise.
I opened the image in Adobe Imageready and examined the frames, it does NOT switch. However, while most of the time in Imageready she appeared to be moving clockwise, it definitely did switch a few times. So it is an interesting illusion!
I see it move clockwise, looks like I'm in that 25% of left handers that actually do use their right brain the most. According to my psych class, it breaks down like this;

Right Handers
5% right brain oriented
95% left brain oriented

Left Handers
25% Right brain oriented
25% A mixture of both sides
50% Left brain oriented
Clockwise, always. Left-handed and creative.
clockwise. but i looked at it hard for a minute, ignoring my empirical experience and told myself it was going anti-clockwise. sure enough that tricked my brain into thinking of it that way.

looking at the characteristics, i don't think i specifically fit one more than the other. they are surprisingly broad, probably so that people don't think them wrong.
I see her turn anti-clockwise and I can't seem to make the carp turn the other way. This is pretty weird as I'm a very creative person - my skills lie in music and art.

I'M A FREAK! D:
I saw her spinning clockwise.

I couldn't get it to look like she was spinning the other way. :\

But I don't think Left Brain orientation describes me at all.

But your major is psychology, right? Anyway, I saw it counterclockwise, which is a perfect description of me. Besides writing my creative skills are next to nil.
I saw it turn anti-clockwise at first, but after a while I looked again and it was going clockwise. Also stared at them for a while and it took both sometime to change between clockwise and anti-clockwise. I guess everyone would have a bit from both sides.
I just looked at it again. It was moving clockwise O.o
hahah this is pretty trippy! I saw it as clockwise first, but then it went counter clockwise. I find it somewhat true that I'm more right sided since I suck at Math and Science.
I'm good with English and math and she changes directions on me at random apparently... Chocked_2..
i see it going clockwise too. but when im not looking directly at it it goes counter clockwise
I saw it going anti, but then mostly clockwise, so CW-right brain
but frankly after observing it for like 5 minutes I can change direction at will(which is trippy)
it is so damn cool, by far the best gif ive seen

edit: i just made it my wallpaper
It goes clockwise for me, and I just can't make it go any other way, no matter how hard I stare at it.
if you ponit your toes the oppiet way of the compert it goes the different way
This is a very old thread... But its interesting soooo...I can see her only turn counterclockwise, lol. And, yeah, the description fits me perfectly.
I've done a load of things like this before and I normally end up pretty even on both sides........with that picture at first I saw it going anti-clockwise and I tried to change it but it didn't really work..........then I left it and went back to it and then I saw it going clockwise. Like so clockwise I'm not sure if I ever saw it going anti-clockwise. D:

EDIT: Looked at it again and it's going anti-clockwise again. I therefore conclude that the picture changes and you don't realise it. It's a trick pictrue. Tired

Actually I went back to it, stared at it some more and then it kept changing in front of me. And then I got confused. And then my brain semi-imploded. Tired
This is crazy stuff, it spins clockwise for me. Kinda makes sense as I'm rubbish at Maths & science lol.
My head hurts after this... I spins in both directions randomly!
it only goes clock wise
