Ok, this is another one of my stories. Sorry for the first chapter not being up to the Experienced Writing Standard. Anyway, here it is.
The beaming sun glared down on the town of Reido. The people in the town gradually got ready for their day ahead. The streets of Reido were long and narrow with market stalls overcrowding the path making it hard to walk through the streets without getting shouted at by a seller asking you to try their newest product. Reido was a very hard place to live in, but for Jason, it was a joy.
Jason emerged through the front door of his house, already making his first encounter with a seller. The seller was wearing an old, raggy hat and a pair of large, round glasses. He wore a large, baggy jumper, revealing his throat and they had large, deep pockets of which a small handgun poked out.
"Jason, hows it goin'?"
"Good! Any new items?"
"Not today, laddy. 'Might be getting some tomorrow though."
"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow then!"
Jason made his way down the path, leaving the old seller behind. As he walked by the food stall, a small, dark animal rushing from stall to stall, leaving each with a mouthful of food. Jason ran towards it, pushing through the crowd. Once he reached the animal, it stopped and stared at him. But then in a flash, it was gone.
