We will be playing Burst GT in the Hasbro Pro Series Stadium.

If a participant does not have any Beys, then they will have the option to receive a Pro Series Bey to use. In the 1st stage a player will be given a choice of 3 randomly generated Beys to choose from and in the final stage a player will be given the choice of 5 randomly generated Beys and will make a Deck out of them (choose 3 Beys). These Beys are to be borrowed DURING THE MATCH and must be given back afterward. A new random list will be generated for a player's next match.

We will be playing the 1 on 1 match type in the first stage, and the Deck match type in the final stage.

This match type will require 1 complete combination.
These combinations will be inspected by the judges beforehand to make sure these restrictions are met.

In the first stage, the winner of each round will be the first to reach 3 points.
In the final stage, the winner of each round will be the first to reach 5 points.

Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Ranked Clauses in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format Rulebook:

Dual Spin Restriction
  • The mode of any dual-spin Layer must be selected during the Beyblade Selection phase before submitting it to the judge for inspection.
  • After a combination has been submitted for inspection, the mode of a dual-spin part cannot be changed for the duration of the match.

Win Condition Point Values
In First Stage, you score point(s) when:
  • The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1 Point)
  • The opposing Beyblade exits the BeyStadium (1 Point)
  • The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Points)
  • The opposing Beyblade separates (1 Point)

In Final Stage, you score point(s) when:
  • The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1 Points)
  • The opposing Beyblade exits the BeyStadium (1 Point)
  • The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Points)
  • The opposing Beyblade separates (1 Point)

Check-in time will be at 10:45am, please reach out to me here or via Discord if you are going to be late.

We will be at shelter 3 at Veterans Park in Pendleton, SC.

I will be setting the participant cap at 16, as the venue does have limited space and there may be people playing other games at the same time.

We will be playing in 2 stadiums, but there will be a large stadium out for free play/friendlies and we encourage you to bring your own stadiums for free play as well.

We expect the tournament to last 2-4 hours depending on the number of participants.

If you have any questions about the event, please post in this thread, or reach out to me on Discord.

This event is GT format meaning any Beyblade parts up to GT are legal and any Sparking, Dynamite, or BU layers and discs are banned. Only Takara Tomy and Hasbro beys will be legal for this event. If you have any questions about your deck or specific combinations, feel free to reach out to me on here, or on Discord.

Thanks in advance for your attendance! We will see you soon. Good luck to all Bladers!

Hey, the top of the event proposal says Burst Standard, but the bottom paragraph says Burst GT

Thanks for pointing that out. I just fixed it.
This event has been approved.
I just put out an update. Anyone who doesn't have a Bey of their own to use will have a random generator to provide a list of Pro Series Beys to borrow for the match.
We are looking forward to it. It's our 1st tournament - so any tips to help prepare us are appreciated! Smile

This will be my sons 1st tournament too!
Yes. So sorry. Just seeing all this now. I look forward to having this tournament and I thank everyone for entering. This is a GT format Tournament so any Beyblade layers and disc’s up to Beyblade Burst GT (Rise) are aloud. If you have specific questions you can ask me. And thanks again for entering.😁👍🐧
Good afternoon, Bladers

This is a message being sent to all the Bladers who have entered the Bulldog Bash Beyblade Tournament happening this weekend, Saturday the 8th. As a reminder that check in starts at 10:45am and the tournament is set to begin at 11:15am. Because of the tournament's close proximity to the lunch period I would advise maybe bringing a lunch box or have some plan for food as we do not know exactly how long the tournament will last. The tournament is Burst GT format meaning Beyblade from the Burst series up to GT/Rise are allowed. The first stage will use 1v1 match type meaning each Blader will select 1 Beyblade to use per match. The first stage of the tournament will be group round robin so that means each Blader will be put into a group and will get to compete against everyone in there group once. After this point the semifinal qualifiers will be selected based on the performance in the group round robin stage. More details will be discussed at the event but just remember to have fun. Thank you all for entering and see you at the stadium this weekend.
