Format: The format for this event is P3C1. Each participant will play 5 rounds, and then the top 8 will compete in the finals. This is a RANKED event.

Rules Overview:
- You will need three (3) official beyblades with non-repeating parts. Pro Series or Takara Tomy are strongly recommended. No fake or illegal beyblades.
- The first blader to score three (3) points is the winner. Ties may only be repeated twice and then move on to the next bey. If a match is too close to call, call a tie; no slow-mo footage to verify.
- The 8 finalists will play Deck Format; 3 beyblades in order face off to 5 points.
NEW! POINT CHANGES!
- 1 Point for spinout
- 2 Points for knockouts
- 2 Points for bursts
NEW! RULE CHANGE!
- A beyblade that hits the side wall is NOT considered to be knocked out if it re-enters the arena and continues spinning. Let it play out! If it never touches the arena floor, you can call 1 mislaunch and redo.
NEW! BANNED PARTS!
- Bearing Drift AND metal bearing drift will be eliminated from this event. Let's see some creative beyblade combos!

Is the event in Houston pretty big? I am from Austin and I am planning to go with my parents.
We typically have between 16 - 25 participants at our ranked events, so a decent size! We usually run the finals right up until 5PM. Hope you can make it!! We have a few people from Austin who attend.
Are the first 5 rounds round robin? I’m confused what it means by all Bladers will play 5 rounds.

It is a swiss format. So each blader plays 5 rounds, then those that got the top 8 in wins move on to a bracket tourney.
I think all drifts should be banned 🚫. To make things interesting 😅.
