I’ve noticed ways of defeating it, and yes, I know there is technically a thread for this, but the whole idea of this thread is for us to show and learn techniques and what you used to defeat dragoon f230 gcf/cf, so with these two, we’ll learn how to dominate the EVIL DRAGOON F230 gcf/cf!!!!!!!!!! hahaha.



So what I’d like to do is, to tell which beyblades have you used to defeat dragoon f230 gcf/cf, and so down below will be where the beyblades you used to defeat it:

So I’ll start off with 20, and I’ll edit it when there are more then 20 combinations that you used to defeat dragoon f230 gcf/cf.



Techniques/techniques with beyblades to defeat dragoon f230 gcf/cf


So same type of thing as up there^, but now I’ll tell you one technique with a beyblade I used to defeat dragoon f230 gcf/cf.



Duo sa165 ewd secret trick



So with duo, I've done testings with this, and i found out that if you launch the beyblade hard, then dragoon f230 gcf/cf will have a 80-100% winning percentage, and if you launch duo kinda weak and kinda strong too, you have a 50-55% of winning, so there's a way duo can beat dragoon f230 gcf/cf more easily more now, in zero-g of course, not sure if this would work in the bb-10 stadium, but it probably could as well!!!!

Basic Techniques



So a technique that I frequently use is the weak launch, what techniques do you use to defeat to defeat dragoon f230 gcf/cf?

I tried using Gryph Dragoon DF145LRF. It worked a couple times using sliding shot. I'll try to post a video when I get a chance. And no one will really probably contribute because they don't want anyone countering F230 GCF/Cf.
Just get a mid height track to knock it off balance. In Zero-G, use Flash D125LRF. It obliterates F230(G)CF.
No need to sound rude, although I thought I'd just point a couple of things out:

~ In the section where you mentioned the Duo_SA165EWD trick, you said you've done testings, however, at the time you didn't have access to an EWD, nor own a Duo wheel, so I'm not too sure how you were able to do them. Assuming they were with someone else, possibly at Anime North a couple of months back?

~ Not too sure whether you own a Zero-G stadium, although it's prime that they're done in Zero-G stadiums, as that's where Dragoon F230 variants are most intimidating. That in mind, you may want to change the title to something along the lines of ''Techniques to beat Dragoon_F230(G)CF variants in Zero-G.''

~ In the basic techniques section where you mentioned doing a weak launch, you may want to specify which setup you were referring to. Against Dragoon F230 variants, it's never really good to launch weak, hah.

With all of that in mind, I'd just want to add a couple of things to my list:

Which both techniques and basic ones I have used to beat Dragoon F230 variants:

Not any present ones.
F230 is definitely beatable. However, it's very difficult and comes with a very high element of risk, since players who own F230 can switch freely between spin directions. Things are especially difficult against Dragooon F230, since SA165 combinations don't work nearly as well, and the best option, Dragooon SA165TB, is utterly useless against the rest of the Zero-G meta.

It's beatable, but it's really tough, and attempting to counter it isn't exactly the safest course of action you could take in a tournament.

The problem is, with so few effective counters existing, F230 is an extremely reliable and versatile part, to the point where it dominates usage among the players who own it, and the Zero-G metagame revolves around trying to beat it. It's the same as the situations we had with Basalt and Libra. It's just too good. We'd all be better off without it. Serious

A combo i found that has a chance against it, is MSF-H girago dragoon sa165(normal or attack mode) wsf, i think attack mode wo0uld be better, i'm not quite sureTongue_out_wink
Are you testing this out in a Zero G/Cyclone stadium or the regular attack type stadium? I really don't like SA165 because the experience I had with it in the past.

Just put dragoon on it and kabam!!! you've found something that counters it, and it's much safer to use then the combo that is used in this video, and it spin steals, keep that in mindTongue_out

It'd be best to test in one of the three Zero-G stadiums out there, as that's where F230 is most dominant. I don't believe Ultimate Blaze is testing in any of them, though.

SA165 does relatively well and has a whole lot of competitive use in Zero-G, as it does Standard. It's good in a couple areas, like for it's great sway attack purposes. What kind of experience did you have with it, though?

As for Meow!'s video shown, that doesn't necessarily focus on it's use against Dragoon F230 setups. Tongue_out
I tried to using it in the cyclone stadium with dragoon synchromes in attack mode but all it did was scrape the stadium floor. So for me switching in defense mode is better. But I really don't like the track at all. I'd rather have something like SP230,SR200,and SW145

I was pointing out a combo that is similiar to girago dragoon sa165 wsf to show you how well it does, and girago dragoon sa165 wsf will beat it due to it being heavier to sway out dragoon f230, if not it will beat it in a SO unless it tips over
If anyone has some serious time on their hands I was getting some interesting results with msf-h balro dragooon SA165 (zero g attack mode) FB a while back
I think girago dragoon sa165 wsf may be another counter to dragoon f230Smile

Yes, it is quite similar to Meow!'s MSF-H Girago Girago SA165WSF, and seems to do well against MF-H Duo Aquario B:D, MSF Killerken Dragoon B:D, and MSF Killerken Genbull E230MS, however, it was never explained on how well it does against Dragoon F230 variants whatsoever.

It's not necessarily because of its weight; as it'd be a Left Spin versus Left Spin type of scenario, in the end, it would really depend on which of the two has more spin left.

I love Flat Ball on SA165 as much as I do the tip alone, haha. Once I get my hands on a Zero-G Stadium, you can definitely expect some results from me.
Sorry, it's not really the weight, first of all girago dragoon sa165 wsf has more force so it has the ability to drag dragoon f230/ sway it, and since dragoon doesn't spin steal now,it depends on stamina which girago dragoon will have a very good chance of winning and make it is in attack modeSmile

Well, to me, it's f230, but the main threat is dragoon f230

Actually Genbull^2 and Duo are both problems.
that's why i said f230, but the main problem is dragoon f230:p
