Hi I don't have burst beys can I still come though
Thanks to all who attended! It was certainly strange having an event with only four people, but it was pretty fun regardless! Congratulations to @[Syphon] for winning our Round Robin event as well; those V2_H and DCA combos worked wonders against whatever we threw at them!
We did give Winning Streak format a go as well as an unofficial side event, as the main event finished pretty quickly. We absolutely loved the concept of it, managing to get through 50ish battles in the 20 minute timeslot. Syphon managed to win overall with 19 wins, while I followed with 15, Ben with 14 and Chimera with 2. With four people, battles were fast paced and the 30 second timer between matches meant we had to be quick on our feet. The format could do with a few refinements to make it more appealing as a main event, but it shows a lot of promise going forward.

Yeah the tournaments were really fun! The V2 combo was V2 Gravity Hold. Was really surprised that DCA worked as well as it did, but I maintain it was because of the launching I did. If you guys came out with something like a DHR I'm sure it wouldn't have had a chance!
Winning streak was absolutely awesome. It was so fast paced and panicky, very much a fun time.
Typical that I would do so well at a time where nothing was ranked though xD

As we've established, the main issue with this event was how last minute it was, not necessarily the date. Furthermore, with the next holiday being in April, that makes the timing very limited.
We've already established that our next event will be on March 4th anyway, so hopefully you'll be able to make that one, haha.

I kinda purposely made it last minute to limit numbers. This was extremely experimental as we have never done Club Format before and we have never had a tournament at a university before. That was the main reason. Hosting a tournament in Regent's Park during Winter is not ideal and we finally tried out an indoor venue. We hope everyone understands this.

I know i just got triggered that it is on a Saturday, THE DAY I AM NEVER FREE ON.
Very sorry to hear that. Sadly most people are free on Saturdays rather than Sundays (due to work, religion and so on).
I'll do my best to arrange something for a Sunday sometime, but please understand, that all depends on other people's availability.
