One of the most interesting things is the weight regulation: 47 grams. It is very easy to pass this limit.

Metal Face Libra WD145WB (or any bottom, they're all 1g) is already 52g, 4 grams over the weight limit. I think this rule exists in order to stop Beyblades like Libra, that are already quite heavy, from becoming even stronger. It seems that Metal Face was released in order to stop the domination of Libra-based combos. Now any Beyblade can have the Metal Face added and compete with Libra.

It's yet undecided how the WBO will react to the new rules. Please leave your opinions.

ya. it really shouldnt be allowed to use metal face with libra! am sure if it was possible youll see most of the players using it in the tournaments. however, i believe you should let us use it in the beypoints matches.

I honestly don't think we should restrict weight. Not everyone is willing to go out and buy a weight and weigh everything on the fly. Besides, we're all smart enough to come up with a Libra killer combo eventually.

It makes sense, but I would like to see some tests to see how much of an advantage Libra gets from the metal face.

Overall it seems like a sensible rule, and one that I find hard to argue against; especially since I have not used the HWS yet.

I agree with this, I think Takara-Tomy realised they made a mistake with making Libra too heavy. Now i see why they bought in the Metal Faces. I think this rule should be added into WBO rules aswell, weight limits can decide how diverse a blader can be and seeing how they can create new combos with the restriction, and also to stop the game breaking 52g Libra Combo you added.

Hmm, I can see where they're coming from but it still seems a shame to me due to my position (Libra - yes, Metal Face - hopefully, RF - no). ^^; I'd like to see some tests too though. Obviously other blades are gonna get stronger too......will Libra then become one of the weaker blades? I think a Weight Limit is an interesting idea but I think the WBO should decide upon there own limit whether that be higher, lower or the same as 47g. :3

Um, Libra Wheel is the only Wheel that can be used to break the weight limit, so ...

Keep the weight limit but are people going to be providing scales? Most people should have scales in their house anyway haha.

^ This is a problem I often have. None of our scales are sensitive enough. I did consider taking some from school but never did......still, we know the weights for all of the parts so in this case it should just be simple math.

I... gotta agree with Takara Tomy on this one.
I think it'll SEVERELY cut down usage of Libra.

I mean, Libra is 43g, regular face and track are 1g, so thats already 45g, that means you can't use WD145, CH120, DF145 or C145 at all with it.

This'll add in quite some changes to the game.

In nearly every youtube demonstration video I've seen, Rubber Flat combos beat Libra every time.

I'm not fond of a universal restriction that prohibits the use of a common part with other common parts. I think just having a separate format for MFB that restricts overused parts like with HMS and Plastics is the best route for the WBO to go.

I think the WBO should conform to Takara's rules. I don't think the WBO should restrict MFB until a while after its been out.

Bit of a self contradiction there..
I don't see the point of this in all honesty, as many have said RF combos tend to take out Libra with ease, meaning there isn't a massive need for this rule enforcement.

I think this rule is great. Along with metal faces, other wheels than Libra might finally stand a chance in Defense and Endurance combos.
If we take this rule into WBO rules, building a combo that has a weight as close as possible to 47g will be an interesting new aspect, it might even bring new possibilities with wheels that aren't really in use yet.

Oh thank god. I was terrified of someone getting a hold of metal face before our tournament. We should definitely consider using this weight limit.

Although I do suggest that we only use it until other combo's come along that are readily capable of beating metal face Libra. (Will takara ever release anything in that weight range again?)
