Interestingly, it looks like the red that some thought was rubber was actually just the burst stopper. The chip's also got BU locks, and apart from the redesigned motif it looks almost identical to the Belial 2 chip. Maybe it's got better teeth or something? 🤷‍♂️

Definitely very odd, it doesn't feel like there's anything special about it that would warrant releasing it now, rather than when Divine first came out.

Found a picture of the new Spriggan that's coming out. Blade design looks like a fusion of Cho-Z Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem, at least what looks to be either the right spin or left spin side. Spriggan core is clearly dual spin and is a side facing core like Storm Spriggan.

Astral was very strong, and a fair Beyblade. Beys like Lord Spriggan are just not fun.

BU Spriggan’s change spin direction could be similar to ChoZ/Lord instead of flipping the layer like World/Astral.

I love the spriggan chip also like how its side face is the Opposite of Valkyrie side face.  It looks like it comes with a new armor spriggan most likely got new disc as well, if the spin direction goes back to its original form im fine with it I always had issue of them scrapping it an the first place, I'm liking it so far so another presiction/Leak confirm theirs should be no doubt about Lucifer for december. Its kind of funny how the student bey gets release after the teacher lol.

So I've seen the new Spriggan leak, and it's the most overt Legend and Requiem fusion look, though the overall shape still leans towards the Requiem style IMO. It looks rounder than Astral overall. The core also feels reminiscent of Storm Spriggan and it looks nice.

I do however see Lord styled burst stoppers, and you know that I'm personally not a fan of them unless on a highly aggressive layer, it just means Spriggan will once again be nearly unburstable, and with the round shape and dual spin, does it need it? At the very least, if the burst stoppers touched the disk when fully assembled, getting past it would be easier (when the battle begins) than if the stoppers touched the disk tabs after a few clicks (when the battle drags on). Hard to explain.

However, if I'm looking at it more objectively, I guess it's better that we have a more likely useful release, than a busted release, even if it seems like another safe stamina option. It looks quite nice overall and I will pick this up regardless.

The colour scheme feels very Cho Z for sure, but I see Legend through the shape of some of the blades. The more angular blades feel reminiscent of Legend's angular head blades.
