From a picture of the box I've seen on Twitter, there's no Bell or any character model on it, so it pretty much confirms there will be no anime this year. It's like TT had done on GS system for the HMS Beyblades or Bottleman with some releases and no anime.

After looking around I see nothing indicating that there will be a new season for the anime. I've now looked at the box art of Divine Belial and see that once again there is nothing to support the possibility of a new season. The other evidence that you should really be looking at is the Belial 2 Dynamite Core that is used for Divine Belial. The fact that they are reusing this core tells me that there isn't a new season. This is because EVERYTIME a bey gets upgraded the center of the Layer, Chip, or Core changes to reflect the Avatar of the bey becoming stronger. This has led me to believe that Beyblade Burst BU is strictly going to be Products and upgrades for already established beys, without the guidance of the Anime/Manga. Takara Tomy is completely free to do whatever they want with the beys now.

I mean they did whatever they wanted to before as well, the toys are designed before they are incorporated into the manga. Models or products are sent to the artist to render. The anime and manga didn’t dictate the products we got.

You literally asked if there was a character on the box as a side question to ask them "is there a season?"

Zankye's sources say teh following:
-New Dragon after Kerbeus RB (Guess: Maybe upgraded from Tempest with traits of Ace/Rock/Grand/Imperial)
-Xcalibur (Fused Layer obv)
-New Achilles Triple Booster (Pls have Metal+attachments)

If the Xcalibur ends up being real then i will flip my lid if it ends up coming with a DB Sword Launcher.

(I broke my other Power Gear....RIP Shot and Almight and Belial 2, I can't activate them via normal LR, and I doont have Sparking Launcher)

RIP your power gear, my Shot has been broken in so I can use my Master Diabolos LR launcher as a backup if I need too (P.S. my Variant Lucifer SP launcher died a year ago)

So true! I hope we get some surprises and if this Xcalibur rumour is true, I would be unbelievably happy. Love Achilles, too, but that's not surprising in the slightest.

As much as I would love BU to be amazing, Divine only having 2/5 of it's parts be new, despite being the first release of the season, doesn't give me a lot of hope. Belial 2 I'll give a pass since it sounds kinda hard to 1up, but another Nexus and 3? Really? And based on what hasbro's doing over there, it doesn't seem too hard to make new disks and armors.
Of course, i'm not TT, so there could be some genuinely good reason out there that i'm unaware of, or they really are just lazy. But for now, i'm gonna go continue being mad that there's another Nexus coming into existence.

I do agree that regardless it is kinda eh that the starting release has only two new parts, I don't think we should generalize the whole season just yet wait until we get more releases.

As far as my thoughts with Belial something I considered is this is supposed to be compatible with old evo gears iirc, so this is likely a way for Takara Tomy to push older Dynamite Battle stuff along with BU.

Like "hey this new Belial still works with those older gears so you can buy those older releases" a bit smart if you ask me this release doesn't really feel like it is a new release but more a transition release.

Of course I do hope future releases do have newer parts I do think we will likely see some stuff reused but hope it is mostly new

Also that weird looking bey from the leak I’m guessing will be this seasons Rare get bey or something. It could possibly be the new dragon but it looks way too different to be. Also Divine having barely any new parts is a shame I would really like to see them do Nexus’ or 2’ or 3’ or something.
