TAKARA-TOMY announces new, third Beyblade generation: Beyblade Burst! ベイブレードバースト

The commercial is decent. The shots of the Burst Finish are the best part, but the worst part is how unenthusiastic the kids sound. The kid in red using Spriggan is like "Go ..." and then he gets destroyed hahaha.

omg, seriously? I thought I would be the second person in Toronto (North America?) to get them haha. Mine will probably be here on Monday.

Are you going to come to our Burst event in Toronto on August 2nd? Smile
where do you pre-order the beyblade burst items I am desperately searching everywhere

You can do so through OkinawamTS (He's a member here, and pretty much the only Ebay seller for Burst right now), or you could go through a Japanese site and use a middleman service (There are tons, just Google it). I'm personally purchasing through Amazon Japan, so I'm waiting until the 18th to purchase since they won't ship until then no matter what.

Lol I was quite surprised with how quickly they arrived. I ordered them on ebay from zankye's supplier, taka.ohno.

I uploaded a quick video on Youtube of the Burst Beyblades battling. Sorry for the small sample size and lack of editing, but that was all the time I could make for beyblade tonight.

I noticed that the beyblades are fairly loose and tend to rattle, even when fully locked.

I will definitely try to make it out! Thanks

Yeah, I did too. He must have shipped zankye's/yours, and then mine the next day.

Interesting. I've been having a hard time getting a grasp on if Spriggan actually sucks, if people aren't putting the Beyblades together properly, or if there is mold variations ... Many videos so far have shown it bursting really easily, but then it happens less frequently in some videos, and not even once in yours!
I probably will not be getting my bursts until the week after this upcoming week... R.I.P.

It could be worse. I'm picking mine up through Amazon, so I have to wait another two weeks.

Where on amazon are you purchasing those? I have a fairly well sized amazon gift card balance, and I figured I might as well use it for something that's worth it.

The Japanese site. You can use your American Amazon account on the Japanese site, and it will already have all of your paymetn information and shipping info saved, but I'm not sure if a gift balance would transfer. It's worth trying though. But I would suggest using something like Anislo because it's usually only items like books, cds and dvds that can be shipped internationally.

I see. Thanks for the info!

Eh, I think that using Amazon Japan only ships directly when it is books or magazines; with other items, I doubt you can order them with an account that has a non-Japanese address.

You are correct. There are plenty of services, however, that act as a middleman where they provide you with a Japanese address to ship it to (Their warehouse) and then they ship it to you from there.
Amazon Japan doesn't ship outside Japan I did tried before.

They ship directly outside of Japan if you are purchasing items such as books, magazines, cds or dvds (So long as it isn't something restricted such as pornographic material, for example. Religious materials may be restricted as well, but don't quote me on that). For other items you need a Japanese address to ship to, which is where middleman services like Anislo come into play.
From anyone who received from taka ohno, can you tell me how quick the delivery was?

If you get EMS shipping, it is very quick. People ordered things from him last weekend and have received them already.
I love that beyblade is still going strong but I like the MF system with all the parts and the customization it made beyblade feel like more of a hobby where I could engineer a perfect bey to do what I ent it to but I'm still open minded and would love to see where they take the sport this time around. BTW I like the new point tracker to bad Cerberus doesn't come with one.

There's only a few less parts, and also why limit to MFB? I assume you're young, but they're other systems and they've all been customizable.

Well I'm going for EMS shipping with my won items from yahoo Japan auctions. I got a 4 pack for 8000 yen and B-00 for 2800 yen excluding shipping and Buyee fees. Don't know whether that was a deal, but seems good to me. I hope EMS doesn't come to a big amount when the packages are combined. First time Buyee user but seems good so far Grin

Haha, I'm quite confident Spriggan sucks. I've only truly tested it against Valkyrie, but here are my results:

Valkyrie Wing Accel vs. Spriggan Spread Fusion
Standard Procedure (B-00, Light Launchers, Attack second)
Valkyrie Wing Accel: 16 wins (9 BR, 4 KO, 3 OS)
Spriggan Spread Fusion: 4 wins (3 KO, 1 OS)
4 draws

Please keep in mind that I am not entirely familiar with "testing". I followed what I could find on the forums.
I guess they had to compromise Spriggans having more than one type with Bursting easier? Kidding, I'm just guessing that's how it's just made.
Maybe Valkyrie is just OP? I find it a little disappointing that the rival character, the "cool guy" of the series, would have a beyblade that's crappy irl.
As long as they dazzle stupid kids with it's good lucks...

Like me... ugh...
Almost kind of figured Spriggans would suck. Honestly I wasn't thrilled with its design. Strikes me as bland.
Now give me some Ragnarok ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I wanted Spriggans to be my favourite! Well I'll know once I get it.
