Any Sentai fans out there?
For those who don't know, Super Sentai is a long running Japanese super Hero show running since 1975 based on 5 or more heroes on a squadron. In 1993, Saban acquired the rights for Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger's (The 1992 Sentai Team) fight footage. They added American footage using actors to make their own series. The result was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Keep in mind Sentai usually features death and more grim plots. Calling it Japanese Power Rangers is incorrect, as it actually dates 18 years after Sentai came out.
