Skin Cansir

Well never did a thing like this, it was all generated in Paint.Net
There was this fire tutorial, and it turned out sweet.
I'll post one for now, but I'd like to add a few more cause they are easy to do, and try to make it more realistic.

so the Sun's Surface;

Rather cool. Drawn manually or generated using an algorithm?
It looks like one of those magic eye images if you look at it long enough.

Maybe it's just me but I'm seeing this in full 3D.
Ye It's generated. i have no idea about the algorithms involved, but part of the image uses fractals overlayed to create those "flares" that gave me the thought of cancer hence the topic title.

Kuznetsov-Im glad you see it that way, but I can't. I'll trya few more too though.

What?

I didn't even know this existed (generating via algorithms).
heres the image before a bit more tweaking and adding the fractals

Honestly I like this better than the first one you posted in this thread. Smile
yeah the second image is much better. the curled objects in the first seemed off
yea I think I do too.
plus I think I screwd the levels up to much and it looks too fake/saturated.
i do another tommorrow
Looks good except for the like pinwheel effect towards the bottom. Not really feeling that.
yea i know what you mean, the gradient fill was kinda limited.
literally took two minutes to make this though. haha
imo kinda looks like omnious clouds on mars than really fire.
