Hah. I would confirm if I could, but MetalZoroark was so intent on hiding his combos from me during freeplay I'm not sure I even saw it when he beat me with it in the tournament! Eee LOL

But aside from that, I agree with you totally. MZ was clearly filled with a strong and positive beyspirit! He was a pleasure to have at the tournament, and its just a shame that he lives in upstate New York and not in Maryland!

Bearing drive is its name and is very annoying on basalt because balance isnt a issue anymoreAngry
Nerf blader showed me that if you but an libra energy ring on lighting it fits, and it spin right, if you put an r2f it is soooo strong but yet soooo illegal.
I lost the tornament...PS do not use WD...Way to many Basalts right...What is up with Scythe Kerbeck 230Cs...SIGH. PS only first tornament I shall win...LOL PS i bought random booster vol 7 there I got beat lynx.
Great tournament, Arupaeo. Thanks for hosting. And MetalZoroark21 is a pretty cool guy. See you guys next month!

I don't think so, remember Arupeao has a life to and I am sure he has things that he has to do Tongue_out_wink But you never know we could have two tournys a month that would be cool.
You know Arupaeo, if you have the next tourney on Nov. 20, you could call it "Technologic's Birthday Celebration", because my birthday you have been the next day Wink

One tournament a month enough is pretty awesome, but two might be pushing it. I mean, how much do you think he's got to spend for prizes each month, let alone twice a month?

Hah. Slight misprint in your statement above. Should be "remember Arupaeo has a wife..." Family has to come first, and I am very fortunate to have a couple other bladers in my family and a wife who is supportive and understanding. But understanding only goes so far, you understand? Wink

Even though 1 tournament a month is about my personal limit, that doesn't mean that it is the limit for the greater MD, DC, NOVA area! Ideally we would have 2 tournaments a month in the region (or more!), and maybe start having some of those tournaments in DC or Arlington, and maybe start having some of those tournaments up closer to Baltimore.

If you look at NYC, or Toronto, or London, you see that the blading community is large enough and active enough to support multiple tourneys in a month. You will also see that they have multiple tournament hosts to share the responsibility. The other important factor though is that they are all in areas with extensive mass transit. To that end, we would need to start looking for venues that are right next to Metrorail stops, and we could probably benefit from some coordination.

I am happy to help out in any way I can with training, resources and insight to those who are interested in becoming tournament hosts. I have surely learned from the things that have worked out, as well as from the mistakes I have made. It takes dedication and hard work, but I am confident that many of you could make it work if you so chose!

Smile Well as luck would have it, the 19th or 20th are the target days for the next tournament, so perhaps you will get your birthday wish! for the date I mean, I'm not so hot on the name... Smile
