MFB Prizes: See below

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on all Qualifier Series tournaments, regardless of whether or not a participant has a Blader Passport (if you wish to purchase a Blader Passport, the total cost would be $15 at a Qualifier Series tournament), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

What can I win?
The winner of this qualifier will receive the following:
  • Paid travel expenses, by plane/bus/public transit (if necessary, and whichever is cheapest) to ANIME NORTH 2014 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2.
  • An ANIME NORTH 2014 Pass
Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto, but we will work closely with each of you to make sure that you find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs. We can also reimburse gas costs, but in that case, reimbursement will only take place in person after we have received gas receipts. If you are local to Toronto and plan on taking public transit to the venue for GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2, then you will simply have to present transfers to us when you arrive.

Hey it's drizzling outside. Is everyone good?
22 Bladers made it out for the Maryland qualifier today, and not only was it cold and wet - it snowed on us! Unbelievable.

Also unbelievable was the strength of the finals tiebreak today. NY qualifier Sniper, and NC qualifier geetster99 would face off against fellow MD hopeful Stars to see who would claim MD glory. Who would win?

Stars! Congrats man!

Here are the final standings:

1st place: Stars
2nd place: geetster99
3rd place: Sniper
Rounding out the finals were Time and TwistedGuy

See you all next month!

Arupaeo

PS - Toronto loves us Maryland Bladers! :p

Wow, that's some pretty messed up weather.

Congratulations to all the placers! I'm hoping to see you in Toronto, Stars.

Of course we do, Maryland's events are awesome!
Congrats to the placers!
Grrr. 5-0 pre-finals beating stars and geetster on my way to it, but then losing to both and Sniper in the finals.
OMG awesome!

Congrats stars, you deserve to go =D

I'm assuming they are not going to say because the top 3 all won a qualifier so it wouldn't be good to share their combos before going to AN.
Check the winning combos thread, Stars posted his.

No, WBO ruled that when placed, bladers must post there winning combination. Whether you like it or not everyone has to do it.

Actually:

Kai-V Wrote:Exceptions regarding the posting of combos will only be made for Bladers who plan on attending large-scale, international WBO tournaments similar to BEYBLADE REVOLUTION in the near future.

If you guys are going to GBT2, you don't necessarily have to post your combinations. That's what Thunder Dome meant when he said that you might not want to share your customs (IE put yourself at a disadvantage).
The combinations should be posted right after though, of course.

They should be sent to a Committee member now, though, if they don't want them posted right away. Ideally it would be Uwik since he won't be attending/participating in GBT2 (unlike myself or you haha).
Oh my chances of winning.

But yes, for some reason, I forgot that was what we (wanted to) do last year.
ok, you guys are right, we should wait until AN before posting any combos, then after AN we can know the combos, And wow!!!!!!! it's april already!!!!!!! 2014 is going pretty fast, it's already getting close to AN, i'm so excited for AN!!!!!!!!!!!Joyful_3
