But for your information, sometimes people just want different usernames. For instance, when I first came here, I didn't know much of what was going on, so I just used my first and middle initial then my last name as a username. Well once I got more used to the community, I realised that using my name was kind of weird, so I changed it to TWRP, then that felt too immature, and I recently changed my name because my previous one was too long for me.
And if you read the thread, I understand why the limit was placed.

And I suppose that makes sense. I wouldn't have wanted to be stuck with "Waawaawaaaa" (my handle when I was like, 8) as my handle for forever.
