Seattle Beyblade MiX-Up
Part II:
"The Fated Partner Team Up!"

The time has come for the long awaited second part to your Christmas gift;

A fated power struggle to the top between 30 teams of talented bladers!

Tournament Participation Requirements:
To play in this event, you must have been a participant in Beyblade X-Mas MiX-Up! "The Fated Partner Bey!".

All players are invited that have their Beyblade from this prior event.

You must partner with another player for your team, and need to register your players and Team name on the Discord with me.

Some players have expressed that they cannot participate in this event, therefore with their permission, a new player is able to take their place and use their combo.

However, players who did get assigned a combo MAY NOT participate under another combo. You must use what you were given in December!
NOTE:
It does not need to be the EXACT Beyblade from XMas, it can be any recolors or brand you may own.
You can even use custom stickers or clear coated painted Blades if you want to.

Clicking on the link above will send you to the document with all combos registered from the previous event, and the players who are going or not going. Please let me know ASAP if you are NOT participating, and please deliberate and find a team member as soon as possible prior to the event to keep things running smoothly.

Please join the Seattle Beyblade Discord if you have not yet to register your information and make your team clear in this channel. I will update the Excel sheet accordingly. Players taking the place of another can change whos combo they want if they get permission from the person who is not able to go.
Please let others know if you change to give anyone else looking for a spot a chance!

General Fated Partner Team Battle Rules:

You must use your Fated Partner Beyblade in Rounds 1 & 2, your third Beyblade will be any combination of your Team's parts between those two Beyblades. You MAY use repeating parts.

First Stage Matches are to 3on3 to 7 points. Swiss Format.

Reveal Team Beys to opposing Team. Deliberate who goes first in secret.
Blader 1 fights with their assigned Partner combo, and then Blader 2 is required to fight with theirs. (This means both players are required to play at least one battle)
Again, you must use the original combination of parts.

Beginning in Round 3, you can customize parts between the two Beyblades *freely*.
You can use any combo you can make out of the two. Then decide who plays.

For the rest of the match you'll be able to swap players and make & use combos of your 6 parts until a winner is decided.

In the event of an Own Finish, the point is awarded and the same setup of player and Beyblade must be REPLAYED.

Simulated Example of a Team Battle and it's Matches:

You'll have to think super hard about your partner you pick to make the best possible combo for your third battle onwards, as it will be the majority of your matches.

But you also have to consider making your first Bey work if the combo is subpar, to either gain a point advantage to start, or minimize the amount of lost points.

Since the document with all possible combos you could face is available, you'll have plenty of time to test your bey against the other matchups and prepare for this event.

Likewise, for the Teams moving onto the Deck Format Final Stage, upon Deck presentation, Players will show their 6 Bey Parts and the opponent will be able to make their first pick in secret based on it. Round 1 will play as the previous Stage's 3rd Round went, with full freedom.
The only time in which you are forced to make a player/bey decision is upon being challenged to a REMATCH by the loser.
When asked to "Switch/Stay", if "Stay" is chosen, the team member of choice and combo to be used must be shown and stated for the opponent to counter pick based on that information.

Location Details

We will meet in the Life Community Church Sanctuary, in the same area as the prequel event.

We will start ASAP after setup at at 1:00PM, so make sure you’re ready to go and have your Beyblades and strategies in place by the end of the countdown.
Bladers arriving after 1:00 will not be able to participate.
Arrive early if necessary!
Use the #im-on-my-way channel in the Seattle Beyblade Discord and keep us updated on your ETA!

We urge players to stay at the venue and not leave in-between matches so the event can be completed as soon as possible.
Bring snacks or food for the Event if you can't last the entire time, but make sure to clean up after yourself!

Please use common sense hygiene rules and wear deodorant and take a shower prior to the event!
We will be using the public library a while for this double header event, and no one wants to smell a stinky blader!
 Words

Feel free to bring any stadiums you would like for the free play area on the side, but make sure you pay attention and are ready when called for your matches.
Tournament matches always take priority over free play, we are on a time limit with the library and need to be respectful of everyone's time Smile

Please let the organizers of the event if anything happens during your matches with a judging call as soon as possible so we can clarify any issues or rectify any mistakes as we go!

Honesty and transparency is key, and we strive to do our best for you guys.

And once again if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us on the Seattle Beyblade Discord. We are happy to help.
