NONE
How to Win:
Score X amount of Points in your Matches
Deck Building:
Build up to 3 Beyblades with no repeating parts and up to 3 launchers that will make up your deck for the match.
How to Play:
1. Each blader must then choose the initial order which they would like to play with their three Beyblades.
2. All three Beyblades must remain concealed from their opponent. This is typically done through the use of a deck box with three numbered slots, but other methods which accomplish the concealment of the Beyblades and their order are also acceptable.
3. Once a blader has constructed all three Beyblades, and completed sequencing them, they must announce that they are “set” and present their launchers and Beyblades to the judge for inspection.
Clauses:
1: 7 Point First Stage (Recommended: Beyblade X)
First Stage Matches are played to 7 points for this Tournament.
2: 4 Point Final Stage (Recommended: Beyblade X):
Final Stage Matches are played to 4 points for this Tournament.
3: Launching:
A battle begins with the call of “3–2–1 Go Shoot!”
4: Win Condition Point Values
In First Stage, you score point(s) when:
The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1)
The opposing Beyblade enters the Over Zone and is unable to return to the Battle Zone (1 Point)
The opposing Beyblade enters the Xtreme Zone and is unable to return to the Battle Zone (2 Points)
The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Points)
In Final Stage, you score point(s) when:
The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1)
The opposing Beyblade enters the Over Zone and is unable to return to the Battle Zone (1 Point)
The opposing Beyblade enters the Xtreme Zone and is unable to return to the Battle Zone (2 Points)
The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Points)
5: Battle Limit and Consecutive Draws:
No limitation applies to the number of Battles per Match, or the number of Consecutive Draws allowed per Battle during this tournament.
6: Continuous Side Switching
Bladers will be stationed across from each other on the Left and Right sides of the BeyStadium. Which side each Blader assumes must be decided by fair means (ex. Judge’s coin flip/dice roll, or rock-paper-scissors), with the winner getting to pick their starting side. This orientation is inverted after each subsequent Battle.
7: Deck Format Rules (Match Types Guide)
5. Switching Combos
If a replay is declined, both bladers may switch Beyblades before the next battle.
The winner of the previous battle must declare first if they will switch.
If they will switch, they must make their selection including Mode Changes, and then show it to the opponent.
The loser then has the option to switch their Beyblade for another Beyblade in their deck and/or change the Mode of any relevant parts of their Beyblade; however, they are not obligated to.
Gameplay Key Notes:
1: Relaunching:
If your launch is obstructed or noticeably underpowered due to an event beyond your control or contact is made in mid-air, you can request a relaunch, which will immediately void and end the current battle. Bladers are entitled to a single relaunch request per battle. Bladers must request a relaunch during the countdown or immediately afterwards. The judge may deny the request if they determine that you were at fault or requested too late.
The primary reasons you’d want to request a relaunch are:
Your launcher malfunctions in a way that causes your launch to be underpowered
You are accidentally hit or shoved by the opposing player or a spectator
Contact was made before both Beyblades touched the stadium floor once
Judges will call for a relaunch as they see fit.
Own Finish
If a Beyblade is knocked-out into an Over Zone or Xtreme Zone without making contact with the opposing Beyblade, it is considered an Out of Bounds and offending player gives up 1 point to their opponent after 2 repeated offenses without either side scoring a point.
Event Code of Conduct:
Events posted on the WBO are run by volunteers so that bladers of all ages can play in competitive Beyblade tournaments that are fair and fun. It’s expected that all bladers attending Events follow the rules, display good sportsmanship, and act with integrity. Crescent’s Edge has zero tolerance on bigotry or bullying of any kind.
