Rev-Up Repros?!

I was perusing SpinCityImports and BeyWarehouse and saw repro Rev-Up Launchers for under $30!

I am super hype and will buy one soon, but does anyone know if it will be allowed competitively? Mid fakes are allowed, and they're repros, so...

Anyone else this exited?

The only reason mids are legal is because they're very difficult to tell apart from authentic beys just from looking at them, along with the exclusion of all the harmful stuff fakes have. A lot of orgs and judges don't really care if launchers are legal or not since it doesn't affect much of anything, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Wouldn't hurt to ask your organizer.

(as organizers we are supposed to enforce the rules at our events so i'm very certain we are supposed to care about illicit parts Joyful_3)

Also at my last event I was told that the Rev Up repro actually wasn't legalized for use by OP staff. So there's that as well..

And yes, launchers do affect quite a bit. Using modified/fake launchers can potentially enhance performance beyond what is capable of the typical officially released TT launcher. Don't really know why lot of orgs/judges don't care about launcher legality is being said here.. might raise a few questions on how events are run there.

Wrong choice of wording. When I said "A lot of orgs and judges don't really care if launchers are legal or not since it doesn't affect much of anything", I was specifically talking about bootleg launchers and not stuff like Noozle 3D or the revup repro, my bad. Though I've never heard of fake launchers being stronger than anything official. I'll keep that in mind.
