Ray Discussion

I was originally testing Ray on CH120 when I first got it also, and I've yet to test it on 90/100 properly. Will get some results a bit later on.
Sup.

I did some quick testing with the beylauncher and launcher grip for both, banking with Ray, Earth launched first and in the attack stadium... RF is 75% worn.

Ray Unicorno 100RF - MF Earth Bull GB145WB:
14 - 6

Ray is pretty mad with smash. I will be posting C145 and stamina results in a sec...

Ray Unicorno 100RF - MF Earth Bull C145WB:
13 - 6
1 Draw

Ray Unicorno 100RF - MF Earth Bull R145WB:
10 - 8
2 Draws
*R145 definitely needs to be looked at imo after this.

Ray Unicorno 100RF - Earth Bull DF145SD:
10 - 9
1 Draw
*Luck?

Since R145 did significantly better than GB145 and C145, I put it on Libra just to test it out...

Ray Unicorno 100RF - MF Libra R145WB:
13 - 7

In my opinion, Ray has to be one of the best wheels currently available and is definitely better than Storm. I haven't played too much with Quetz because, for some reason, I can't use Quetz 90RF but MF Quetz CH120RF didn't perform well for me, even though I used the same RF in these tests. Personally, this wheel has great smash capabilities. The fact that the RF is really worn down is further testament to Ray's smash attack.

I don't know what happened against Earth Bull DF145SD.
Ray: New top-tier attack wheel?
Have you tried using it on a higher track, like CH120? It seems that it would have better results if the wheels made better contact.
Nah, I'll probably do that tomorrow. I tried it on CH145 for some reason though... it was pretty lame.
Well since I got Ray two days ago from ebay..I guess I will post some interesting results..

Ray Unicorno 100RF vs Burn DF145SD

18) Ray
19) Burn
20) Ray

Ray won a total of 14/20
Burn won a total of 6/20

Ray has some massive smash attack, even beter than Leone...
I am going to try RayDF145RF, or RayCh120RF
Ch120 for versatility
DF145 makes smash much more precise and faster

I think the top tier attacks should be changed..
Burn what? What clear wheel did you use?
knew ray was aswemone the second i bought it, but didnt expect it to be better then quetz! thanks for this info!
Hn, 70% win rate against a stamina type isn't that impressive to me.

Yeah, I know. I posted my results just to make you less impressed. I think that was luck though.

how does ray compare to lightning?

so lightning is still a bit better, huh? How many stadium outs were there for each?

well actually i think its just the 100rf maybe if u used a diff track and tip like a hmm ch120 and a cs or an rf or something like that
As I mentioned I would do inn my Infinity discussion thread, I did some more testing with Ray:

Ray Pegasis II 100RF vs. MF Earth Aquario C145WB
Ray Pegasis II 100RF: 13 wins
MF Earth Aquario C145WB: 7 wins
Ray win percentage: 65%

Not as outstanding as last time (I think I got a bit lucky on a few of the KOs last time around anyways), but still decent results. And they seem to be similar to Cpt. Squirrel's results:

I'd like to try this as well, but my RF is too worn down. Would R2F be an okay substitute?

R2F, from my past experiences functions slightly weaker than RF, but its so slight it might make a 1 game difference.
They are almost the same..
I just did some testing with Ray 145RF:

Ray 145RF - MF Earth Bull GB145WB:
9 - 11, 4 KOs in favour of Earth.

Its strength in smash is potentially as strong as Pegasis's in the 145 combo, but Ray doesn't have the ability to capitalise on its strength as much as Pegasis does (urgh, I just made a beyblade seem human). Its recoil was also very high.

I think Ray should be kept on a very low track. Currently, I'd say only 90 or 100 suits it, though I don't think 105 would be too bad.

what bout ch120

EDIT: also try using a 50% worn r2f
No one noted experiments with 135 and 130, ever. Could somebody test it with these heights?
