I don't know. I just don't get anything from 1UP Yours. It's all mostly about news and stuff. All of it I get at blogs and what not. GFW is just bull shitting (fun bull shitting) for an hour and a half.

It's kind of like reading something on Kotaku, Joystiq, or Insert Game Blog Here compared to reading a well thought out article on 1UP.

Maybe once Shane is gone I'll like it more. Shawn leaving makes me a bit sad, but he did it because he wanted to I guess.

1Up Yours is probably my favorite podcast out of all the ones I'm subscribed to. It is mostly about news and new releases and stuff, but what makes it good is that the podcast really feels like a couple of guys sitting around bullshitting about games.

It doesn't feel like they're being paid (they're not) to do it; they're doing the podcast because they love games and they have fun talking about them. Plus the arguments they get into with each other are hilarious.

The reason I don't like GFW Radio is the exact same reason that you do like it. It feels really unstructured. They touch on a little bit of PC news and stuff (I'm not a PC gamer so obviously this doesn't interest me) but most of the time they are just rambling about random carp carp.

EGM Live isn't garbage ALL the time. Sometimes they get some really cool guest interviews and stuff on there, and being an EGM subscriber and someone who is interested in writing about games for a living its nice to get a behind the scenes look at how one of the best gaming magazines around does business. Its also nice to know that the people who put it together really are just regular, everday people.
