My friend cannot receive calls or visits, not even from his very own mother. (his mother is a lesbian and has a lesbian partner, and he has fights with the partner. he loves his real mother very much, but hates the other a lot. this is the "family" conflict that I mentioned in the first post)

He may be there for a week, for a month, whatever; it's not certain.

Once he gets out, he has a possibility of moving in with his dad (in a different state), and as he is close to lots of people, including me and his closest friends, it's very depressing.
