ok so i got a 22 inch hd ready lcd computer screen for my bday

but i'm connecting it to my ps3

i have hd cables and everything, and i can see the picture just perfectly, the only problem is that there's no sound

i've tried computer speaker, wireless headphones and iPod headphones and nothing worked

som i'm wondering if someone can link me to some sort of guide that tells me what to do?

I have a situation similar to this on my TV.

With my 360 I use the HD Component inputs for video but for some reason to get audio I also have to plug in the Composite cables (White and Red AV cables).

Since the 360's cable has both of these built into one chord it's no problem, but I dunno if the PS3's works the same way.

Does your monitor have an HDMI input? If so just use that as audio and video both go through the same single connection.

Yeah my monitor has HD input, but it doesnt have AV Cable input =/
but I'm taking it back to the store and ask them today, since they said that it would work with ps3 perfectly when we got it

Well the girl at the desk was like, "Oh, well, I'm not allowed to give you a refund, just either let someone else here fix it or give you a gift certificate ..."

I said, "Look, I know you're just doing your job and all, but this isn't even close to what I asked for, it's incredibly sloppy and the first cut was a huge cut off the front." Then I showed her the pics I posted here. "This was my first time here and I'm not coming again. I just want my money back."

So I sat down and she made a call and gave me a refund.
