Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

Ahhhh, just finished my first day at Expo. I got a lot of great photos and saw a lot of great cosplays. Went with my sis dressed as a Charmander and me as Itachi/L, haha.

Getting up at 6.00AM in the morning for day two. Gonna be even worst then Friday.

My legs are killing me though . Tired
To all California members with cell phones: Anyone else notice the uprising of EAS and AMBER Alerts? I got two yesturday about a severe thunderstorm warning and flash flood warning, today I got two child abduction alerts. This is really getting weird... And I live near all 4 of the alert areas... And that unforgettable beeping, really scares the hell out of me.

I don't live in California, but I did my research on yesterday. Apparently the two girls were found.

READ THE LIGHT NOVEL PEOPLE. SAO FTW.

So does Kirito attract every woman he makes eye contact with? lmao
Curse you Dreamy Main Character Syndrome, you strike again!

Well... Not eye contact, but just his "charm." But yes, he essentially does, cause heck, he's Kirito. AND HE'S A LONER...

#MakesPerfectSense XD
Also is protag. That makes him 1440% irresistible to people even supposed to consider him a BROTHER. That was some serious squick for a while. (Nightmarefuel needed? Imagine if Kirito and Suguha were actually related by blood.) Even in the light novel! Also: Gun Gale Online was whack, yo.

Also: Officially a college-bound high school graduate! Oh, the things that good test scores will get you.

Don't get me started on the "Second Arc"...really disappointed in how far SAO dropped from the first 15 episodes. It's not like they were masterpieces, but they weren't THAT bad.

Congrats on the graduation! Thinking of any colleges in particular we can know about?

B-t-dubs, started Steins;Gate, which from what I've heard is supposed to be one of the best animes out there. Also finished the first 27 episodes of Death Note although I'm stopping there, I can't bear Near for another 25 episodes.
Ah, Steins; Gate was perfect for me. I never watched in dubs because (IMO) it sucked and I couldn't watch it, hah.

Also, Death Note has 37 episodes dude... It's only 10. I get you though. Sometimes I feel like kicking Near in the middle.
GGO was messed up like a scrambled 11x11x11 rubik's cube.

Congratz on the graduation Temp.

On that note, I'm finished with my IGCSE examinations (finally), so I essentially have quite the room for freedom until next year (hello IBDP...)...
I'm unofficially a Sophmore guys, woo! I will officially after Thirsday when my finals will be done.

Going to Monmouth College, thanks to a very generous scholarship package that paid for pretty much everything.

As for Death Note, I liked the series mostly because I couldn't stand Near. The best series actually make you have an opinion on characters from a personal aspect. Makes the store more believable.
I just noticed people have been talking about SAO on this page of the thread and I just finished it today (it only took yesterday and today to watch the whole series). I really liked it, although I liked the first half before they got to ALO a lot better. So is there a confirmed date for Gun Gale Online yet? Can't wait to watch more in this series.

Also congrats Temporal, good luck in college!
thanks mod! I have to follow the rules and regulations of this forum. thanks!

I swear I thought you were older XD

I'll be incoming Senior this year, and it feels so strange...
We are the same age haha. I guess it's just the difference in education standards, who knows, haha.

Senior year isn't so bad. There's a touch of pressure, but that's every year. Honestly, it went pretty quick for me. Then again, I don't quite know you as a person, so I can't say for certainty. But if you don't overwork yourself, I think you'll be fine.
Permit test is tomorrow. I'm extremely nervous, confident, and unconfident at the same time. I've take like 4 practice tests and passed them all but I'm still scared haha.
I kinda wonder why you're scared... If anything you should be very confident, seeing that you've passed the tests prior to this.
Speaking of tests, I got finals next week! Tomorrow is my math final *gulp* and then my English, World History and Phys Ed, which is a simple mile. (I assume the challenge is to beat the time limit) then I'm home free to my summer vacation. NOPE! I need to take summer school because of how much I sucked last year... Unless if there's a secret Internet summer school...

It's natural to be nervous. No matter how confident I am, I always am nervous before tests or speeches, even if I know the material. It's a human reaction.
I'm nervous because this will decide if I'll be able to start driving with my instructor next week.
Got my Final Report Card, Integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program(ILEAP) scores, and my letter saying that I got into Algebra 1 or not.

My Report Card: 4.0 (All A's)

PE: 100A
GT Art: 96A
Pre-Ap Math: 93A(My scores the first semester were really low, so it explains the 93)
Eng/Read GT: 96A
Amer. Studies: 97A
Stem Science: 96A

ILEAP Scores:

Math: 500/500(Advanced)
Science: 433/500(Advanced)
History: 399/500(Advanced)
ELA: 370/500(Mastery T__T)

It's scored: Advanced, Mastery, Basic, Approaching Basic, and Unsatisfactory. I'm happy with my scores, especially my Math one, and I feel I could've done better in ELA, but it's close enough.

If we pass an end-of-the-year test then we get accepted to take an Algebra 1 course in the 8th grade. Depending on if you don't fail the course you earn a high-school credit.
Lucky! I took Algebra 1 in 7th grade and I didn't get high school credit. Then again, I also didn't get credit for chemistry and physics in 7th and 8th grade, even though they were high school courses, and I passed them both...

Anyway, congrats!
I wish my grades were good... Here they are:
Computer: 78% C
World History: 79% C
English: 76% C
Phys Ed: 98% A
Tutorial Math: 69% D
Geometry: 12% F
These aren't final grades, and you see I got many C's. They're probably gonna turn to B's though with the finals. No hope for the Geometry, curse the 40 point assignments! The final does determine if you pass or fail. (Talking about the Geometry final)

Compared to you all, I suck with my scores.. Oh well.

Well the reason I get it is because the teacher is able to teach High School or Middle School. Aww, that would be so fun to take those classes..

Thanks!

I hope you do well Ownage! Just gotta apply yourself.
Final cumulative GPA is in at a 3.07. Which is surprising, after a 2.44 GPA following sophomore year. I actually managed to get my act together, surprisingly. Managed a B in Spanish II, too. Surprisingly enough. On the other hand, I finished with a B in political science this semester, which isn't what I'd planned. Bah.
So far, here's what I know.
After finals:
French: 89.89% (Ugh! I should have done so much better!)
English: 90.33% (Again, should have been an A. Every single question on the final asked me to pick the "better" answer...)
History: 93% (Eh, at least I kept my A here)

Final grades not in:
Chemistry: 86% (Borderline C, and the final was difficult. I need an 81% or greater final grade to keep my B)
Geometry: 83% (I need a 92% on the final today to get it to a B. This sucks)
Religion: 96% (Yah, not too worried about this)

I'm taking my final final today (Geometry). I really hope I do well.
