Happy new years! Today was really hot, it was 40 degrees celcius ( 104 degrees Fahrenheit ) which is strange because the past two months have really just been heavy rain. Is it only me who usually likes the cold weather over the heat?

Actually I think it has nothing to do with our bandwidth. It is related to the server we use in general, sometimes they are "attacks" done by SPAM bots and our host has to ban the "offending IP addresses".

I think I know what makes today 'special:' A group of randomly picked people arbitrarily decided that in the middle of winter was the perfect time for people to think that a year had ended. Although, this happens every day for 365 days because we complete a 'full revolution' around the sun, and 365 days ago, we 'started' that revolution.

I think I know what makes today 'special:' A group of randomly picked people arbitrarily decided that in the middle of winter was the perfect time for people to think that a year had ended. Although, this happens every day for 365 days because we complete a 'full revolution' around the sun, and 365 days ago, we 'started' that revolution.

But 365 isn't 1 year... 365 1/4 days is more accurate. Hence Leap Year.
