I was on the closing shift at work, and about 5 minutes after I was scheduled to lock up, this woman walks in (I was busy dealing with some other things, so I forgot to lock all the doors.)
I figured since it wasn't such a hassle to serve her, I asked what she wanted.
She wanted some stuff that we didn't have, so she was pretty pissy.
Then she finally settled on hot chocolate, so I made it for her, rather good one too.
I put it in a paper cup, and put it on the counter, she paid and everything seemed alright.
"Well, where is it?"
"excuse me?"
"Where's the drink I just ordered?"
I pointed to the cup sitting on the counter.
"Excuse me? What is that?"
"What you ordered"
"Why isn't it in a ceramic mug?"
"Because I'm currently closing up"
"That doesn't make sense"
So I explained how since I was closing up, she had to have a paper cup, because she can't just take a glass mug home with her.
Well, her reaction was "But... why can't I have a mug with it?"
"Because I'm closing"
"But WHY can't I have it in a mug?"
"Because we're closed, and we don't give out mugs"
"But I'm GOING TO DRINK IT HERE"
"But mam, I have to lock the doors and clean up"
"I HAVE A RIGHT TO STAY HERE, I PAID FOR IT. DON'T DENY ME MY RIGHTS"
At this point, I went with the cowards way and just gave up, poured it into a mug and gave it to her.
carp left a gigantic mess at the table she sat at.
I feel like carp..
On a positive note, my Club Nintendo DS Game/Stylus case arrived.
